AfricaPress-Tanzania:<\/strong> TANZANIA\u2019S prominent professional boxer Ibrahim Class faces Malawian Dennis Mwale in the World Boxing Federation (WBF) super featherweight intercontinental title bout at the Next Door Arena in Masaki tonight. The 12-round bout has been organised by the Jackson Group Sports, according to the firm\u2019s Chief Executive, Kelvin Twissa.<\/p>\n

The two boxers attended the weigh-in exercise at the Onomo Hotel in the city and the medical examination and all were cleared to fight for today\u2019s showdown. Speaking yesterday, Class said that nothing will stop him from winning the title at the home venue and assured all Tanzanians that Mwale will return home empty-handed.<\/p>\n

\u201cI will teach him a lesson in the fight. I have trained well under my coach Habib \u2018Master\u2019 Kinyogoli and I am sure he will not reach the 12th round. He has somehow good record, but he will not survive in all rounds,\u201d said Class. On his part, Mwale insisted that he is here in Tanzania for one mission, to win the fight. \u201cHe is talking too much, I cannot contest for the verbal words, my hands will speak on the ring,\u201d said Mwale.<\/p>\n

Other fights set for today include that of Bulgarian boxer Tervel Pulev who will fight Namibia\u2019s Vikapita Merero in the Cruiser weight while DR Congo, Ardi Ndembo will face Tanzanian Pascal Enock in the heavyweight bout. Also in the list is female boxer Happy Daudi who will exchange blows with Zambian boxer Lolita Ndembo in the eight-round super welterweight while Saidi Mrosso will exchange blows with Botswana\u2019s Gomatsang Gaasite.<\/p>\n

There will be also a fight between Jacob Maganga against Hafidhi David while Shaaban Jongo will take on American boxer Shawn Miller in the Cruiserweight of the WBF international title. Another Tanzanian boxer, Nasibu Ramadhani will fight Nkosinati Biyana from South Africa while Stumai Muki is pitted against Zimbabwean Revai Madondo.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile; Jackson Group Sports\u2019 in-charge of customers, Cynthia Marealle has urged fans to attend the fights and watch boxers in spectacular actions. Cynthia said also urged women to come and see how two Tanzanian boxers, Stumai Muki and Happy Daudi showcase their boxing skills.<\/p>\n
