AfricaPress-Tanzania:<\/strong> President Samia Suluhu Hassan has suspended Tanzania Port Authority Director General Engineer Deusdedit Kakoko pending for a thorough investigation as a CAG’s report submitted Sunday in Dodoma reveals misused \u00a0of 3.6bn\/- at the authority.<\/p>\n

President Samia, who received both Prevention and Combating of Corruption Bureau and CAG reports in Dodoma Sunday, said \u00a0although a \u00a0special task was force formed by Prime Minister Majaliwa to probe the saga, only junior staff were held accountable hence she has decided to suspend the TPA czar.<\/p>\n

Insisting on transparency and accountability, the President , equally, ordered CAG to cooperate with the Bank of Tanzania (BOT) to track all development funds released by \u00a0the lander of the last resort from January to March, this year.<\/p>\n
