AfricaPress-Tanzania:<\/strong> Speaker Job Ndugai has on Thursday (April 1, 2021), administered oaths to three newly nominated Members of Parliament, Ambassador Dr \u00a0Bashiru Ally, Liberata Mulamula and Mbarouk Nassor Mbarouk.<\/p>\n

The three new lawmakers were nominated by President Samia Suluhu Hassan on Wednesday, where she also made a minor cabinet reshuffle.<\/p>\n

The three new MPs have been sworn in ahead of cabinet swearing-in ceremony at Chamwino State House in Dodoma Capital city later today.<\/p>\n

President Samia on Wednesday nominated Amb Dr Bashiru, Liberata Mulamula and Mbarouk Nassor Mbarouk to become MPs in the 12th Parliament.<\/p>\n

The President subsequently tweaked the cabinet, bringing in four new faces and relocating nine others, to increase efficiency in her government.<\/p>\n

The Parliament business has been adjourned to Tuesday next week to give MPs an opportunity to join their families during the Easter season.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
