AfricaPress-Tanzania:<\/strong> ALL is set for Tanzanian and Indian Kabaddi players to battle it out for the Sunday 2021 Kabaddi friendly games known as Third Indo- Tanzania Kabaddi encounter.<\/p>\n

The day-long event will be held at Uhuru National Stadium in Temeke Municipal, in Dar es Salaam. Organised by Tanzania Kabaddi Sports Association (TKSA), the tournament will involve four teams.<\/p>\n

Abdallah Nyoni, the TKSA Chairman told the media in Dar es Salaam that preparation for the event has been finalised to enable Tanzanian and Indian players to showcase their talents where there will be men and women\u2019s teams.<\/p>\n

Nyoni said that Temeke Municipal Mayor Abdul Mtinika will be the Chief Guest in the event. According to organisers, it will be the first time Kabaddi games of Tanzania to go live on facebook and YouTube after successfully hosting such events for the past three years.<\/p>\n

The live event will be seen in various other nations such as India through other Kabaddi platforms, says Nyoni. Buffalo Kabaddi Club (BKSC) under the aegis of TKSA has been working harder to popularise sports like Kabaddi to schools.<\/p>\n

\u201cBKSC is providing these Kabaddi athletes a platform to exhibit the skill they have acquired throughout our programmes. It is believed by BKSC & TKSA that the players should be given health-oriented alternatives and develop enthusiasm for sports,\u201d added Nyoni.<\/p>\n

However, he stressed that the main objectives of the event is to look at the standards of national team players, to build long existing friendship between Tanzania and India through sports and to strengthen the unity among the players and their stakeholders.<\/p>\n

Moreover, the event Nyoni said, aims at preparing and strengthening national teams and also will use this game to mark World Kabaddi day 2021.<\/p>\n

The chairman said BKSC and TKSA find their strength in the relentless support of its partners such as The Ministry of Information, Cultural, Arts and Sports along with National Sports Council (NSC), India High Commissioner to Tanzania, The Regional Commissioners office, Pangani water and their Patron Adarsh Sharma have been supporting this noble cause from the beginning.<\/p>\n
