Africa-Press<\/a> – Tanzania<\/a>. <\/strong><\/span>The Board of Directors of the World Bank (WB) has approved concessional loans worth Sh2.3391 trillion to Tanzania for the implementation of four development projects.<\/p>\n

This was said on Sunday, June 6, by the Minister of Finance and Planning Dr. Mwigulu Nchemba while speaking to reporters a day before presenting his Ministry’s budget for the financial year 2021\/2022.Dr. Mwigulu said the funds are meant for the improvement of rural roads and social opportunities (RISE) and a project to strengthen the teaching and training environment in higher education institutions.<\/p>\n

Others are the project to help increase access to internet services (DTP) and the Project to expand the scope of access to quality and reliable services for Zanzibar Electricity (Zesta)<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
