TWO people have died in Nkasi District in Rukwa Region, including a Form Four student of Nkomolo Secondary School, Fredy Richard, alias Pupa (19) who has been stabbed to death by a fellow student aged 18.<\/p>\n

The deceased was attacked by the colleague who was armed with a kitchen knife, slitting his stomach wide open.<\/p>\n

According to reports from the scene of the incident, the two boy were playing \u201c when fighting ensued between them, degenerating into a physical confrontation.”<\/p>\n

The Rukwa Regional Police Commander (RPC), Mr Justine Masonje, confirmed the grisly incident that occurred on January 29,this year at Mkangale area at in Namanyere township at around 10:15 pm.<\/p>\n

According to RPC the body of deceased has been preserved in a morgue in a hospital pending burial arrangements.<\/p>\n

In another incident, a resident of Nkomolo in Namanyere township in Nkasi District, Elisha Mganya (32) drowned in a well while attempting to rescue his cat that had fallen into it.<\/p>\n

The RPC said the incident occurred on January 29, this year at Nkomolo. Reports from the scene of incident had it that the cat was subsequently rescued.<\/p>\n

The RPC further revealed that the body of Mgaya has been preserved in the morgue at Nkomolo Health Center at Namanyere to await collection by relatives for burial arrangements.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
