Africa-Press<\/a> – Tanzania<\/a>. <\/strong><\/span>Dar es Salaam Regional Commissioner, Amos Makalla has instructed residents in Tanzania\u2019s commercial city to wear face masks at whenever they are in crowded areas.<\/p>\n

The regional boss issued the directive on Thursday; few days after Health Ministry warned wananchi of the third Covid-19 wave and advised them to take all necessary prevention measures.<\/p>\n

Speaking in the city, Mr Makalla said it is important for citizens to take precautions ahead of the third wave that has already hit neighboring countries.<\/p>\n

\u201cPeople should wear face masks in crowded places like markets, meeting, ceremonies, health centers, in offices, bars, schools, universities and all other places of gatherings,\u201d Mr Makalla insisted.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile RC Makalla instructed all district commissioners, institutions and security agencies to execute his directive.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
