Africa-Press<\/a> – Tanzania<\/a>. <\/strong><\/span>Jamhuri newspaper editor, Mkinga Mkinga has died at the Muhimbili National Hospital (MNH) in Dar es Salaam where he was receiving treatment.<\/p>\n

Earlier, the journalist was admitted at Kitengule Hospital in Tegeta, Dar es Salaam before being shifted to Muhimbili for further treatment.<\/p>\n

Apart from Jamhuri, Mkinga worked at Uhuru Media Group as Executive Editor before returning to Jamhuri.<\/p>\n

He also served as a senior reporter at The Citizen where he emerged as an overall winner of the best journalism award organized by the Media Council of Tanzania (MCT) after covering a series of escrow account saga<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
