Africa-Press<\/a> – Tanzania<\/a>. <\/strong><\/span>President Samia Suluhu Hassan has asked all religious leaders in the country to remind their congregations on the importance of abiding to the Health Ministry\u2019s directives as the world fights to contain the third Covid-19 wave.<\/p>\n

The President emphasized on the need for Tanzanians to abide with the guidelines on Friday when she was addressing the Roman Catholic Church’s Tanzania Episcopal Conference (TEC) members at Kurasini in Dar es Salaam.<\/p>\n

\u201cI urge you Bishops\u2026..don\u2019t forget to remind your worshippers on the importance of protecting themselves and taking all precautions as per the Health Ministry\u2026\u201d President Samia emphasized.<\/p>\n

\u201cSince prevention is better than cure,\u201d the President added \u201cwe should not stop using all the means to keep us safe against Covid-19.\u201d<\/p>\n

She advised citizens to turn to God and ask him for protection against all sorts of diseases including the pandemic.<\/p>\n

\u201cLet us pray to God and pray to him to continue protecting us from diseases, especially this Covid-19 pandemic\u2026 He is omnipotent,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
