Africa-Press<\/a> – Tanzania<\/a>. <\/strong><\/span>TANZANIA Postal Corporation (TPC) and TTCL Corporate have been given three months to end the dispute over the distribution of assets owned by the corporations before the split.<\/p>\n

The order was issued yesterday by Minister for Communication and Information Technology, Dr Faustine Ndugulile, at a working session of heads office, regional leaders and management to evaluate the organisation\u2019s performance.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe have already instructed them to sit down and split the assets. Those they failed to agree on to forward them to the ministry level and the registrar of the treasury to arrange for agreeable sharing mode,\u201d said Dr Ndugulile.<\/p>\n

The minister wants the matter to be resolved at September this year at a quarterly meeting in which they will discuss the achievements and plans for the 2021\/22 budget.<\/p>\n

\u201cTreasury and ministry will assist to allocate the assets amicably and their after published them on the government gazette to settle the matter,” said Dr Ndugulile.<\/p>\n

Earlier, the minister advised TPC to venture into digital world to safeguard its survival while also strengthening its customer care unit in all aspects of supervision and management.<\/p>\n

\u201cI want you [staff] to have a positive and winning mentality since the transformation are on and have no reverse gear,\u201d said Dr Ndugulile.<\/p>\n

The minister likewise asked government institutions to use TPC services in reaching clients across the country by doing so also boosting the corporation revenues.<\/p>\n

The institutions that are using TPC services in delivery are National Identification Authority( NIDA), RITA, Police, Immigration, Tanzania Revenue Authority (TRA), National Social Security Fund (NSSF) and The Business Registrations and Licensing Agency(BRELA)<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
