Africa-Press<\/a> – Tanzania<\/a>. <\/strong><\/span>Tanzania\u2019s best musical video director, Michael Mlingwa popular alias MxCarter has argued local artists to invest in creativity in order to grab international entertainment market.<\/p>\n

The artist\u2019s manager and photographer made the remarks in Dar es Salaam recently at an interview with Daily News as he insisted: \u201cTanzanian music has its identity that deserves international recognition.\u201d<\/p>\n

He singled out a \u2018Singeli\u2019 music genre which has become popular within and outside the country but it is not prospering effectively because of lack of creativity among singers.<\/p>\n

On the genre, the manager said likes the rhythms, vibe and beats of Singeli though called for more creativity.<\/p>\n

Mr MxCarter, who owns two companies namely; Slide Visual and Slide Digital, said his production firms have added value to \u2018singeli\u2019 by producing the best videos and exposing them to international market via Spotfy,Boomplay, Audiomark and Apple Music as well as YouTube.<\/p>\n

Mx is the country representative to all the mentioned musical channels.<\/p>\n

Just to mention a few, MxCarter manages the likes of Shilole, Shetta, the Mafik, Mimi Mars.<\/p>\n

He’s also a representative of some international music channels in Tanzania of which he had utilized the opportunity to promote local artists to access international music market.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
