Africa-Press<\/a> – Tanzania<\/a>. <\/strong><\/span>THE government will release the remaining 3bn\/- to finance the construction of Mawenzi Referral Hospital in Moshi district, Kilimanjaro region.<\/p>\n

President Samia Suluhu Hassan announced on Friday shortly after laying the foundation stone for the construction of maternal ward at the hospital the decision is necessary for the decades-long health facility.<\/p>\n

\u201cMawenzi started providing healthcare services some years back and it hasn\u2019t got the status of a referral hospital,\u201d she said detailing that the government plans to renovate all infrastructure at decades-long hospitals across the country.<\/p>\n

Under the plan Mawenzi hospital will receive 6bn\/-.<\/p>\n

The president called on health workers to continue offering service to the people pleading to protect their interests.<\/p>\n
