Africa-Press<\/a> – Tanzania<\/a>. <\/strong><\/span>SIMBA SC have a downhill task in their return leg match of CAF Champions League at Benjamin Mkapa stadium in Dar es salaam following their 2-0 away victory over Jwaneng Galaxy in Gaborone yesterday. It is a downhill task as a draw or loss of fewer than two goals will see them grabbing a ticket to play in the group stage of the CAF Champions League once again.<\/p>\n

The Tanzania envoys good start in the campaign witnessed the club skipper John Bocco playing a significant role as he scored a brace. It only took six minutes for the Msimbazi giants to pick the two goals. John Bocco scored both goals in the third and sixth minutes of the first half.<\/p>\n

The uniqueness of those goals is the scoring style, and most enjoyable it involved Bocco and Larry Bwalya. Bwalya created a set piece, and Bocco delivered the punishment on Jwaneng Galaxy.<\/p>\n

On both occasions, Bwalya sculpted the set pieces that found the skipper Bocco who completed with a fine dipping volley that punished Jwaneng Galaxy twice.<\/p>\n

The Jwaneng Galaxy squad were excellent in the high balls, but Simba\u2019s advantage was through their solid defence led by Henoc Baka and Pascal Wawa, who fulfilled their role of ruining their opponent\u2019s plan.<\/p>\n

After Jwaneng Galaxy conceded two goals in the first half, the Botswana envoys committed many fouls against Simba\u2019s attacking midfielders Bwalya and Bernard Morrison, who proved to be a threat in Botswana\u2019s side.<\/p>\n

As a result of those fouls, Jwaneng Galaxy received two yellow cards for committing fouls. In the first half, Gape Mohutsiwa was shown a card after fouling Bernard Morrison.<\/p>\n

Another player who was shown a yellow card was Lucky Mokoena for fouling Bocco. The two goals from John Bocco in the first half were enough for Simba to pick a victory against Jwaneng Galaxy. After the competition\u2019s first leg match, the reverse tie is pegged on October 24th at Benjamin Mkapa Stadium in Dar es Salaam.<\/p>\n

The winner of the two-legged showdown will claim a ticket to play in the tournament\u2019s group stage; hence yesterday\u2019s victory has been Simba\u2019s great advantage which might help the Tanzanian envoys sail to CAF Champions League Group Stage. However, this is the first time for the country\u2019s envoys in the Champions League to play one game before stepping into the group stage.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
