Africa-Press – Tanzania. <\/strong><\/span>TOP local Kabaddi players are among African players who have landed invitations to attend the JKL league 2021. The JKL Kabaddi League season 10 is scheduled for late November in India.<\/p>\n

The JKL league is a platform that gives chances to youth to show their talent. Abdallah Nyoni, an official from Tanzania Kabaddi Sports Association (TKSA) said nine players; four ladies and five men have been invited to feature in the league and they will be accompanied by officials from TKSA and the government.<\/p>\n

Nyoni said that the JKL league will help improve the status of kabaddi in Tanzania. \u201cJKL is the best platform for upcoming players which gives youngsters a chance to play and change their life,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

\u201cAlso is a great opportunity for our association to improve our relationship with JKL because we have a chance to send our player to India for JKL in years to come.\u201d Nyoni stated that players will also benefit financially, improve kabaddi skills and benefit national teams as well.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe have a number of friends in India who will greatly improve the sport in Tanzania and help many players become professionals,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

He however added JKL Society is keen to develop kabaddi in Tanzania and pledged to do a great job for the national team by providing players with technical skills, equipment and intensive training.<\/p>\n

Kabaddi Society\u2019s Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Sohanlal Tusir was quoted as saying it\u2019s their goal to improve the cultural exchange programme existing between the two countries and the league can give Tanzanian players great skills, techniques and experiences of Indian kabaddi.<\/p>\n

\u201cJKL is supporting and helping upcoming players from Tanzania and others from Africa to build an arena of kabaddi,\u201d said JKL secretary general Roshanlal.<\/p>\n

Additionally, JKL Managing Director, Nirav Patel said kabaddi players will get high quality hospitality and professional skills while in India.<\/p>\n

According to Nyoni, the teams still need support of return flight tickets and he requested sports stakeholders, companies and government to come forward and support them.<\/p>\n

The players and officials are expected to depart for India on November 24th and return on December 21st this year.<\/p>\n
