Africa-Press – Tanzania. <\/strong><\/span>AFTER recording their fourth defeat of the campaign, Mtibwa Sugar have admitted that they are not even sure what is wrong with them to undergo such a bumpy ride in the Premier League.<\/p>\n

The Morogoro-based outfits were handed a hefty 3-1 loss by Mbeya City at Sokoine Stadium over the weekend to continue their misery as they are yet to pocket maximum three points of the season.<\/p>\n

Speaking after the game, the team’s Assistant Coach, Awadhi Juma said they are too surprised with the unconvincing results but he has vowed to correct the shortfalls and come back stronger in their upcoming fixtures.<\/p>\n

“The bad results are giving us discomfort but this is football which has got three outcomes of a win, a loss or a draw. We respect the way our opponents played against us as they used well their chances, we will ask ourselves where we went wrong,” Juma said.<\/p>\n

He continued: “Losing one game does not make you to start giving up because we still have a long way to go and I am sure that we will bounce back much stronger than before. Giving up in football is a sin.”<\/p>\n

He also pointed out that the ongoing season is difficult saying all teams in the league are well prepared and are fighting hard to earn the much needed victory from the games they play.<\/p>\n

“It\u2019s good to see that many teams are doing well in the league and we will continue to push ourselves up in order to get back to our usual formula,” he said.<\/p>\n

His counterpart for Mbeya City, Mathias Lulle hailed his players for their massive display while calling them not to relax as the marathon is far from over.<\/p>\n

“At first, we used a 4:4:2 format but after observing our opponents, we switched to 4:3:3 system which highly helped us a lot to score the three goals and we missed several scoring opportunities in the process.<\/p>\n

“From the way we played, we could have scored at least five goals but we are satisfied with what we have gathered because a win is a win.<\/p>\n

We have to be much better in our next fixture to do well,” he said. Mbeya City have picked 10 points from their six matches and coach Lulle has urged his side never to settle for less.<\/p>\n
