Africa-Press – Tanzania. <\/strong><\/span>Pan-African reinsurance company, Grand Re, has launched its service that will enhance insurance penetration in Tanzania.<\/p>\n

Speaking at the launching event, the Insurance Commissioner, Dr Musa Juma commended Grand Re Company for opening a branch in Tanzania, adding that he believed it would use his vast experience and expertise to further improve services in the insurance industry in the country.<\/p>\n

The Company\u2019s Chairman Shingayi Mutasa said that the company provides tailor-made reinsurance and financial services to the entire Sub-Saharan insurance market through teamwork and innovation, integrity, reliability and passion.<\/p>\n

The newly established, Grand Re Tanzania, will focus on providing reinsurance services to the East African community with services including short term reinsurance with various classes such as aviation, fire, motor and so much more, risk management services which come with benefits such as customised solutions, financial security and above all, assured confidence.<\/p>\n

Also the actuarial consultancy services which include new product development and pricing, actuarial valuations and financial modelling.<\/p>\n

Grand Re insurance Incorporated in 2005 was established to provide top-notch reinsurance solutions to short term insurance companies across the Sub-Saharan African market.<\/p>\n

The company has grown tremendously, becoming a reinsurer of first choice across Africa, with reinsurance hubs in Zimbabwe, Botswana, and more recently in Tanzania.<\/p>\n

Grand Re is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Masawara Investments Mauritius Limited, with diverse interests in the financial services, property, ICT, and hospitality sectors.<\/p>\n
