Africa-Press – Tanzania. <\/strong><\/span>CHAMA cha Demokrasia na Maendeleo (Chadema) leader Tundu Lissu has finally announced his comeback plan insisting \u201che cannot continue to live in exile, indefinitely.\u201d<\/p>\n

Lissu who left the country immediately after a lamentable defeat in the 2020 general election said he will be returning home between March and April next year to help build the country, among other political reasons.<\/p>\n

\u201cChadema Central Committee met digitally recently and approved a decision that Lema (Godbless) and I to start making arrangements for returning home,\u201d he said during his address on Twitter. He noted that the party (Chadema) will be making ground preparation effectively from next month and communication will be made regarding the specific date and time for their arrivals.<\/p>\n

“This is the beginning of a new era. It is the beginning of us to return to rebuild our country,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n

On the other hand, the politician advised the state to take the necessary precautions to confront food shortages that could be fueled by ongoing climate change conditions.<\/p>\n

He suggested the government embark on cutting spending and implement measures that could help the people continue to be food secure.<\/p>\n
