Africa-Press – Tanzania. <\/strong><\/span>ONLY 2,500 fans will be permitted at Manungu Complex in Morogoro to watch the sparkling NBC Premier League match between Mtibwa Sugar and Simba today.<\/p>\n

The post made available at Mtibwa Sugar\u2019s official Instagram account, disclosed that only 2,500 spectators will have an access into the venue whose entry charge has been pegged at 10,000\/-.<\/p>\n

This will probably be the least turnout of fans to witness a Premier League match involving a big club of Simba status in recent years as they have the capacity to attract big crowd wherever they go to play.<\/p>\n

The Msimbazi Street Reds are returning at the venue after nearly 20 years as games pitting the two sides were usually played at Jamhuri Stadium hence football fraternity will be wide awake to see what transpires at the end of normal period of play.<\/p>\n

Simba step into the game like a wounded buffalo as they lost their previous league battle1-0 to Mbeya City at Sokoine Stadium in Mbeya and will be keen not to concede another setback.<\/p>\n

The nosedive was Simba\u2019s first loss of the season as they surrendered their 10-match unbeaten status and trail the current leaders Young Africans with 8 points but the former have a game in hand.<\/p>\n

Yesterday,the club\u2019s Media and Communications, Manager Ahmed Ally said they are ready for the game and it is time to show the world how big teams react<\/p>\n

. \u201cWe are aware that the game will be difficult but basing on the nature of preparations we have had, our main target is nothing less than to win the match and seize all three points,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

He added that they are not shaken by the poor results recorded by Simba at the venue when they met 20 years ago saying the past is over and they are ready to erase it with a new chapter.<\/p>\n

According to him, Simba will arrive at the venue today from Morogoro City where they stormed on Thursday and that after the game, they will retreat to Morogoro town.<\/p>\n

However, in his remarks, Mtibwa Sugar Information Officer Thobias Kifaru lauded Tanzania Premier League Board (TPLB) for giving their Manungu Complex a green light to host league matches.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis is a good news to us and the last time to face Simba at this venue was in the past 20 years as such, we are all happy to host games at our own backyard and I believe that we will claim all three points on the day,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

In terms of security, Kifaru said they will ensure that everything is in right place as such; people should come in their big numbers to witness the classic match without fear.<\/p>\n

From their played 12 games, Mtibwa Sugar have accumulated 11 points which is not that convincing and a lot of efforts needed to uplift themselves as far as the standings are concerned.<\/p>\n

Going into the today\u2019s match Simba are placed second with 24 points while Mtibwa Sugar are are positioned 12th with 11 points after playing 12 games.<\/p>\n
