Africa-Press – Tanzania. <\/strong><\/span>YOUNG Africans centre-back Dickson Job said working hard and putting in practice what the coach wants are the secrets to his superb performance at the club.<\/p>\n

Job has established himself at Yanga, forming a solid defence in collaboration with his skipper Bakari Mwamnyeto and the duo have been doing a remarkable job at the club.<\/p>\n

Yanga’s defence has so far conceded only four goal, the lowest number on the record with their past three back to back league games elapsing with a clean sheet.<\/p>\n

Ruvu Shooting are lately the only side to have conceded 20, the highest number of goals so far thus making their defence, the most porous compared to other 15 fifteen teams racing for the league\u2019s throne, However, speaking recently in Dar es Salaam, Job opened up about his secret of performing well, saying he works hard and always implements what the coach wants in regard with a particular match as the secret behind the success of him and his team.<\/p>\n

“There is nothing extraordinary about my performance, only that I work hard and always follow the instructions of our coaches. By doing these, I usually end up with desirable outcomes,” he said.<\/p>\n

He then seized the platform to urge Yanga fans wherever they are to continue rallying behind their team saying if they proceed to give them (players) the required backup, then lifting the season’s title can be easily achieved.<\/p>\n

The Jangwani street side continues to enjoy the driving seat of the NBC Premier League table with 35 points from 13 matches as they remain the only team yet to taste a defeat and are among the key title contenders. Their next league match will be at Benjamin Mkapa Stadium next month against Mbeya City which becomes the first team this season to beat the defending champions, Simba courtesy of their 1-0 home triumph.<\/p>\n

However, before facing Mbeya City, Yanga have a puzzle to solve in the Azam Sports Federation Cup (ASFC) as they visit First League team, Mbao FC at CCM Kirumba Stadium in Mwanza this Saturday.<\/p>\n

This is a knockout competition meaning that a winner must be found at the end of the normal 90 minutes regardless of what transpires.<\/p>\n

But, mixed reactions from the football fraternity have been made as they question why Yanga, who are the hosts of the match, have decided to transfer it to Mwanza from a good pitch in Dar es Salaam.<\/p>\n
