AfricaPress-Tanzania:<\/strong> FAMOUS Comedian Idris Sultan and two others appeared before the Kisutu Resident Magistrate\u2019s Court in Dar es Salaam on Friday charged with providing online contents through their You Tube channel without license issued by the Tanzania Telecommunication Regulatory Authority (TCRA).<\/p>\n

Before Principal Resident Magistrate Huruma Shaidi, the 27 year old Sultan, a resident of Mbezi Beach, who is also the Big Brother Winner of 2014, was charged alongside Doctor Ulimwengu (28), who resides at Msasani and Isihaka Mwinyimvua (22), a resident of Gongo la Mboto.\u00a0They denied the charge.<\/p>\n

The magistrate granted them bail on simple condition of securing one surety.<\/p>\n

Every surety signed a bond of 8m\/-and were each required to present identification letters and an identity card, preferably the National Identification Card.\u00a0The trio met the set conditions.<\/p>\n

The case was adjourned to April 21, 2020 for mention, as investigations into the matter, according to the prosecution led by State Attorney Batilda Mushi, have not been completed.<\/p>\n

Prosecuting, the trial attorney told the court that the accused persons committed the offence on diverse dates between March 8, 2016 and March 12, 2020 at various places in Dar es Salam.<\/p>\n

According to the prosecution, the accused persons allegedly provided online contents through their You Tube channel or account known as Loko Motion without license issued by the TCRA.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
