Africa-Press – Tanzania. <\/strong><\/span>NURU Yetu Foundation has trained over 50 women entrepreneurs aiming to strengthen their businesses and create commercial channels.<\/p>\n

Speaking during the training held in Dar es Salaam on Monday, the Director and Founder of the Nuru Yetu, Ms Zauja Mohammed, said they have been providing training to women entrepreneurs in order to build their capacity to do their business more creatively.<\/p>\n

\u201cMany women are engaged in different businesses without knowing the right ways to find customers and some of them feel shy to do business due to their small capital while others are waiting for orders before selling their products,\u201d said Ms Mohammed.<\/p>\n

Also, she said that in this fifth phase of training awareness was broadly compared to the previous years as the number of participants increased significantly also those taking loans.<\/p>\n

Ms Mohammed also said that the training was important for women entrepreneurs since it builds their confidence in doing business despite having limited capital.<\/p>\n

\u201cWomen entrepreneurs are also broadening their network after socialising with others during training,\u201d said Ms Mohammed.<\/p>\n

One of the entrepreneurs who attended the training, Ms Nargis Mohamed, said most female entrepreneurs in the country lack capital thus struggling to do business.<\/p>\n

Ms Nargis also said another challenge they are facing women are stuck on displaying their business online, using social media, instead of looking for market vigorously using other channels as well.<\/p>\n

Also, another participant Ms Rebeca Edward said the workshop aimed at promoting their businesses, and access to capital as well as building market channels.<\/p>\n
