Africa-Press – Tanzania. <\/strong><\/span>DAR ES SALAAM:<\/b> SHINYANGA residents Renatus Mashaka, 28, has been announced the luck winner of \u2018Upige Mwingi\u2019 promotion after scooping a total of 50m\/-.<\/p>\n

The promo, which has to an end on Wednesday, was a three-month initiative conducted by Airtel Tanzania to reward its customers with airtime bonuses, motorcycles, TV, fridge, and cash prizes ranging from 1m\/-.<\/p>\n

During the 90-day campaign, the telecom\u2019s customers across the country had a chance of winning prizes daily after buying Airtel bundles or performing Airtel money transactions (Send money, cash out, Bill Pay, or Lipa.<\/p>\n

Speaking during the UPIGE MWINGI grand draw, Airtel Money Director Andrew Rugamba said, \u2018Airtel cares for its customers and are committed to serving and rewarding all our loyal customers.<\/p>\n

According to him, the campaign was run to \u2018thanks\u2019 customers who preferred Airtel services and Airtel Money transactions.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe will keep on launching innovative products and services that meet the daily digital lifestyles of our customers.<\/p>\n

\u201cDuring the promotion, over 250m\/- has been won and today we are announcing a lucky winner of our grand prize of 50m\/-. This was a game of chance and therefore lucky customers were awarded depending on probability on customers to be picked based on how many times they use the Airtel service. We had over 400 lucky winners from all walks of lives residing in different parts of Tanzania. To our Airtel customers who have not been able to win anything just be assured that you are all winners as you will continue enjoying our value for money services that are Instant, Secure, and borderless.<\/p>\n

On her part, Airtel Corporate Communications Director Beatrice Singano said the telecom is committed to serving and rewarding its loyal customers.<\/p>\n
