AfricaPress-Tanzania:<\/strong> MTIBWA Sugar Head Coach Zuberi Katwila said they will have to do their utmost to win most of their upcoming Mainland Premier League games, to end at the good position on the table.<\/p>\n

The Morogoro based side is among the nine teams in the top flight league, which will have to fight lungs out to stay put in the contest next season as they lately accommodate 14th place on the standings with 33 points.<\/p>\n

\u201cDue to the prevailing situation, we have nothing to complain about other than winning our remaining matches to be completely safe on the table.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe league fixture is jam packed with some games placed too close but our task is to make sure that we prepare well and post remarkable results,\u201d Katwila said.<\/p>\n

He added that the time provided for teams to prepare before league resumption on June 13th this year is enough and they are doing both tactical and psychological preparations.<\/p>\n

\u201cSo far, I am satisfied with the performance of my players during the few days we have regrouped for training and it is my hope that the chart will continue to climb up. \u201cThe good thing for our club is that we were prepared for any mode of play which could have been proposed to complete the season either to use one centre or the cleared usual home and away system,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

On his part, the team\u2019s skipper Shabani Nditi said the current position they occupy on the table is not what they are used to accommodate, hence vowed to do well in their remaining matches.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe big challenge we have as a team is to make sure that we climb up the league ladders and be able to sit on good positions we are commonly known for. To achieve that, we need total cooperation from the management and our fans,\u201d Nditi said.<\/p>\n

Also, the club\u2019s Information Officer Thobias Kifaru maintained his stance that Mtibwa Sugar is the University for grooming youth players.<\/p>\n

\u201cNo other club in the country has a competitive youth academy like us that is why we usually maintain our consistency in the league in all the seasons,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
