Africa-Press – Tchad. <\/strong><\/span>Pour financer le troisi\u00e8me recensement g\u00e9n\u00e9ral de la population coupl\u00e9 \u00e0 celui de l\u2019agriculture, le gouvernement tchadien, a sollicit\u00e9 ce 5 novembre, l\u2019appui financier et technique de ses partenaires.<\/p>\n

Ce troisi\u00e8me recensement g\u00e9n\u00e9ral de la population et de l\u2019habitat ( RGPH3) et celui de l\u2019agriculture vont permettre de fournir des \u00ab donn\u00e9es fiables et \u00e0 jour \u00bb sur la situation d\u00e9mographique du pays et sa dynamique, sur l\u2019habitat et l\u2019agriculture. La rencontre entre le gouvernement et ses partenaires y relatif vise \u00e0 mobiliser les ressources n\u00e9cessaires pour la r\u00e9alisation de ces op\u00e9rations.<\/p>\n

D\u2019apr\u00e8s le ministre de l\u2019\u00c9conomie, de la Planification du d\u00e9veloppement et de la Coop\u00e9ration internationale, Dr Issa Doubragne, qui s\u2019est confi\u00e9 \u00e0 nos confr\u00e8res du journal Le Visionnaire, le co\u00fbt de ces travaux approuv\u00e9 par le Conseil national de la population, le 13 mars 2020, s\u2019\u00e9l\u00e8ve \u00e0 40.880.142.000 F.<\/p>\n

CFA. Cependant, lance le ministre aux partenaires, le pays ne peut contribuer qu\u2019\u00e0 hauteur de 25%. \u00ab Ce recensement est inscrit au rang des actions prioritaires du gouvernement de transition \u00bb, signifie-t-il. Il est aussi l\u2019une des recommandations des Nations-Unies ( chaque 10 ans).<\/p>\n

De son c\u00f4t\u00e9, la ministre de l\u2019agriculture, Kamougu\u00e9 Dene-Assoum, reconna\u00eet que le pays manque cruellement d\u2019informations et de statistiques fiables compl\u00e8tes et \u00e0 jour n\u00e9cessaires pour la planification dans le secteur agricole et rural et la formulation des strat\u00e9gies et des politiques.<\/p>\n

Selon nos confr\u00e8res, les partenaires pr\u00e9sents \u00e0 cette table ronde ont pris des engagements pour accompagner le pays dans ce projet. Rappelons que le dernier recensement g\u00e9n\u00e9ral de la population et de l\u2019habitat date de 2009. Il en ressort une population estim\u00e9e \u00e0 environ 11 millions d\u2019habitants. Celui de l\u2019agriculture date de plus de trente ans.<\/p>\n
