Africa-Press – Tchad. <\/strong><\/span>Face au braconnage de plus en plus intensif sur son territoire, les gardes forestiers centrafricains ont d\u00e9cid\u00e9 de porter leur aider \u00e0 la faune sauvage. Depuis les ann\u00e9es 1960, plus de 80 pour cent des esp\u00e8ces animales ont disparu dans le nord de la R\u00e9publique centrafricaine.<\/p>\n

\u00c9l\u00e9phants, girafes et f\u00e9lins sont tous victimes d\u2019un braconnage intensif, facilit\u00e9 par des fronti\u00e8res poreuses avec le Tchad et le Soudan et d\u2019innombrables infiltrations de groupes rebelles.<\/p>\n

Dans cette zone incontr\u00f4lable, une ONG am\u00e9ricaine a sign\u00e9 un partenariat de 25 ans avec le gouvernement pour prot\u00e9ger la zone des catastrophes environnementales ; un d\u00e9fi que ses 150 hommes sous-arm\u00e9s peinent \u00e0 relever.<\/p>\n

Mais en une d\u00e9cennie, des gardes forestiers gardes ont tout de m\u00eame r\u00e9ussi \u00e0 reprendre et contr\u00f4ler un quart de l\u2019aire prot\u00e9g\u00e9e, et certains animaux reviennent progressivement.<\/p>\n
