C\u2019est le sixi\u00e8me en moins de deux ans sur le continent africain, habitu\u00e9 des putschs militaires.<\/p>\n

Des militaires en uniforme ont affirm\u00e9 lundi (24 janvier) dans la soir\u00e9e \u00e0 la Radiodiffusion T\u00e9l\u00e9vision du Burkina avoir pris le pouvoir et mis fin aux fonctions du pr\u00e9sident Roch Marc Christian Kabor\u00e9.<\/p>\n

Le capitaine Kader Ouedraogo, entour\u00e9 d’une quinzaine de militaires qui a lu le communiqu\u00e9 a annonc\u00e9 dans la foul\u00e9e, la cr\u00e9ation du Mouvement patriotique pour la sauvegarde et la restauration (MPSR) \u00ab\u00a0qui regroupe toutes les composantes des forces de d\u00e9fense et de s\u00e9curit\u00e9.<\/p>\n

Dans la foul\u00e9e, le nouvel homme fort du pays, le lieutenant-colonel Paul-Henri Sandaogo Damiba, a ordonn\u00e9 la fermeture des fronti\u00e8res terrestres et a\u00e9riennes (rouverte entre temps) la dissolution du gouvernement et de l’Assembl\u00e9e nationale par ailleurs la constitution est \u00ab\u00a0suspendue\u00a0\u00bb.<\/p>\n

Ce coup d\u2019\u00e9tat, le sixi\u00e8me en seulement un an et demi, est intervenu apr\u00e8s celui du Mali, de la Guin\u00e9e, du Tchad, du Soudan. L\u2019Afrique noire francophone et les putschs L\u2019Afrique est un continent habitu\u00e9 aux putsch militaires.<\/p>\n

Lors d\u2019un s\u00e9minaire organis\u00e9 en octobre 2021, les chercheurs de l\u2018Institut d’\u00e9tudes de s\u00e9curit\u00e9 ont affirm\u00e9 qu\u2018entre 1951 et la mi-2020, plus de 90 coups d’\u00c9tat ont \u00e9t\u00e9 perp\u00e9tr\u00e9s.<\/p>\n

Durant cette p\u00e9riode, seuls 30 dirigeants en exercice ont \u00e9t\u00e9 destitu\u00e9s pacifiquement par leurs adversaires politiques lors d’\u00e9lections. En moins de 13 mois \u00e0 partir du 18 ao\u00fbt 2020, quatre coups d’\u00c9tat se sont produits.<\/p>\n

Deux ont \u00e9t\u00e9 men\u00e9s au Mali, en ao\u00fbt 2020 et en mai 2021, un au Tchad, en mai 2021, et un en Guin\u00e9e, en septembre 2021. Qu\u2019est-ce qui explique ces nombreuses prises de pouvoir par les armes sur le continent ? Comment faire pour qu\u2019il n’en soit plus ainsi ?<\/p>\n
