Africa-Press – Tchad. <\/strong><\/span>Le Pr\u00e9fet du d\u00e9partement de Barh-Azoum, Mahamat Ahmat Saleh a pr\u00e9sid\u00e9 ce vendredi 18 f\u00e9vrier, la c\u00e9r\u00e9monie de lancement du projet \u00ab Appui \u00e0 l’am\u00e9lioration des droits et \u00e0 la protection juridique des femmes et des filles contre toutes formes de violences faites dans la province du Salamat \u00bb. C’\u00e9tait en pr\u00e9sence des autorit\u00e9s civiles, militaires et des partenaires au d\u00e9veloppement.<\/p>\n

Ce projet qui vise \u00e0 contribuer \u00e0 la meilleure promotion des droits et une pr\u00e9vention et protection des femmes et filles face aux violences bas\u00e9es sur le genre dans la province du Salamat, est ex\u00e9cut\u00e9 par un consortium compos\u00e9 de l’ONG ACORD-TCHAD (Association de coop\u00e9ration et de recherches pour le d\u00e9veloppement) et son partenaire ADC (Association pour le d\u00e9veloppement communautaire).<\/p>\n

Repr\u00e9sentant le consortium, Mahamat Langaba a lors de son intervention, pr\u00e9cis\u00e9 que cet atelier de lancement permettra \u00e0 chacun d’\u00eatre inform\u00e9 et \u00e9clair\u00e9 sur les objectifs sp\u00e9cifiques et les r\u00e9sultats attendus du projet dont les actions touchent le d\u00e9partement de Barh-Azoum et celui d’Aboude\u00efa.<\/p>\n

Lan\u00e7ant le projet, le Pr\u00e9fet du d\u00e9partement de Barh-Azoum, Mahamat Ahmat Saleh, rappelle que la protection des femmes et des filles est une question de justice et d’\u00e9quit\u00e9.<\/p>\n

Il poursuit que des nombreux efforts ont \u00e9t\u00e9 consentis par le gouvernement en faveur de l’am\u00e9lioration de l’environnement juridique afin de contribuer \u00e0 la r\u00e9duction des in\u00e9galit\u00e9s sociales bas\u00e9es sur le genre. D’un co\u00fbt total de 131.190.000 Francs CFA, ce projet s’ex\u00e9cute dans une dur\u00e9e de 12 mois.<\/p>\n
