Singe qui \u00e9ternue, geckos, moules\u2026 Au moins 100 nouvelles esp\u00e8ces ont \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9couvertes en Birmanie en dix ans, un signe de la biodiversit\u00e9 \u00ab stup\u00e9fiante \u00bb du pays, a annonc\u00e9 l\u2019ONG Fauna and Flora International (FFI). Cette \u00ab s\u00e9quence incroyable de d\u00e9couvertes \u00bb a commenc\u00e9 en 2010 avec le rhinopith\u00e8que de Stryker, petit primate noir connu sous le nom du \u00ab singe qui \u00e9ternue \u00bb, a indiqu\u00e9 le groupe de protection de la nature.<\/p>\n

Pendant ces dix ans, qui ont vu la dissolution de la junte birmane et l\u2019ouverture du pays (avant un coup d\u2019\u00c9tat d\u00e9but 2021), des scientifiques du monde entier ont pu parcourir les for\u00eats tropicales, explorer les grottes, descendre les rivi\u00e8res et se frayer un chemin \u00e0 travers les formations rocheuses karstiques.<\/p>\n
