Africa-Press – Tchad. <\/strong><\/span>A Koumra dans la province du Mandoul, l\u2019exploitation des enfants est une r\u00e9alit\u00e9 qui a la peau dure. Cabarets, bars, march\u00e9s et rues de la ville de Koumra abondent d\u2019enfants qui d\u00e9ambulent avec leurs marchandises en main ou sur la tete pour les c\u00e9der aux \u00e9ventuels preneurs.<\/p>\n

On y trouve des vendeurs de cigarette, des carottes, des mangues, des habits et d\u2019autres qui font dans le transport des briques avec des \u00e2nes en destination des chantiers.<\/p>\n

Certains de ceux-l\u00e0 ont abandonn\u00e9 l\u2019\u00e9cole pour se lancer dans ces diff\u00e9rentes activit\u00e9s. D\u2019autres partent \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9cole avant de revenir liquider leurs articles.<\/p>\n

Il y en a de toutes cat\u00e9gories. Des orphelins ou abandonn\u00e9s et ceux employ\u00e9s par leurs propres parents\/tuteurs. Nanmadji Herv\u00e9, \u00e2g\u00e9 de 13 ans, rencontr\u00e9 dans une alimentation, affirme faire de la vente ambulante pour de petits besoins.<\/p>\n

\u201cC\u2019est mon oncle paternel qui m\u2019a demand\u00e9 de faire \u00e7a.<\/p>\n

Au d\u00e9but de la rentr\u00e9e scolaire de cette ann\u00e9e, il m\u2019a tendu 10 000f pour acheter les cahiers, les stylos \u00e0 bille, et autres articles en vue de les revendre et que les b\u00e9n\u00e9fices devraient me servir \u00e0 manger \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9cole et payer les savons.<\/p>\n

Car, il est sous cr\u00e9dit\u201d, rapporte-t-il. Quant \u00e0 Armel Ngarassem, rencontr\u00e9 dans un convoi d\u2019\u00e2nes transportant des briques cuites, il ne fr\u00e9quente pas l\u2019\u00e9cole.<\/p>\n

Le bonhomme dit \u00eatre fatigu\u00e9 : \u201cje veux repartir au village mais ce n\u2019est pas facile\u201d, avoue-t-il. Assis sous le cailcedrat, Tog Aubin expose ses statues en bois que lui donne son oncle paternel qui est un sculpteur.<\/p>\n

C\u2019est de \u00e7a qu\u2019il est nourri. \u201cLe jour o\u00f9 je n\u2019arrive pas \u00e0 vendre un bois travaill\u00e9, je n\u2019aurai pas \u00e0 manger car ils vont me dire que j\u2019ai laiss\u00e9 les articles pour aller jouer au ballon\u201d, raconte le gar\u00e7on.<\/p>\n

Avec cette p\u00e9riode de mangues et des produits mara\u00eechers ( carotte, salade, choux\u2026), beaucoup d\u2019enfants viennent des villages environnants comme Kemkada, Koko, Nara\u2026et ne rentrent que la nuit apr\u00e8s avoir ou non tout vendu ces produits.<\/p>\n

Ces enfants qui sont exploit\u00e9s par des adultes trainent sur la voie publique et sont expos\u00e9s \u00e0 des accidents de circulation et aux maladies. Ils sont des fois escroqu\u00e9s ou extorqu\u00e9s par de personnes mal intentionn\u00e9es.<\/p>\n

Si pareil cas se produit, ceux-ci doivent s\u2019attendre \u00e0 une bonne correction que leur infligent les parents ou tuteurs. Pourtant, la convention des droits de l\u2019enfant interdit le travail des enfants qui est consid\u00e9r\u00e9 comme une exploitation. Les autorit\u00e9s provinciales sont interpell\u00e9es.<\/p>\n
