Avec 34.500 dollars am\u00e9ricains par personne, l\u2019\u00eele touristique du sud-ouest de l\u2019oc\u00e9an Indien devance l\u2019Afrique du Sud avec 10.970 dollars am\u00e9ricains, indique cette \u00e9tude r\u00e9alis\u00e9e par Henley & Partners en partenariat avec New World Health (une soci\u00e9t\u00e9 d\u2019intelligence \u00e9conomique sud-africaine).Le patrimoine priv\u00e9 total de l\u2019Afrique s\u2019\u00e9l\u00e8ve actuellement \u00e0 2.100 milliards de dollars. Mais selon l\u2019Africa Wealth Report 2022, ce montant devrait augmenter de 38% pour atteindre 3.000 milliards de dollars au cours de la prochaine d\u00e9cennie, en raison de la croissance des secteurs des services technologiques et professionnels.<\/p>\n

Selon les pr\u00e9visions, c\u2019est \u00e0 Maurice, au Rwanda et en Ouganda que la richesse non \u00e9tatique devrait augmenter le plus rapidement, au moins 60%. Le Kenya, le Maroc, le Mozambique et la Zambie devraient \u00e9galement enregistrer de bons r\u00e9sultats.<\/p>\n

Le PDG de MyGrowthFund Venture Partners, Busi Thembekwayo, indique que \u201cl\u2019histoire de l\u2019Afrique est celle d\u2019une domination polaire, les plus grands centres de gestion de patrimoine \u00e9tant traditionnellement situ\u00e9s \u00e0 l\u2019extr\u00eame sud \u2013 Afrique du Sud \u2013 et \u00e0 l\u2019extr\u00eame nord \u2013 \u00c9gypte et Maroc\u201c.<\/p>\n

M.Thembekwayo note \u00e9galement la mont\u00e9e en puissance d\u2019\u00e9conomies telles que l\u2019\u00eele Maurice et les Seychelles, qui se positionnent comme des destinations d\u2019investissement privil\u00e9gi\u00e9es.<\/p>\n

L\u2019Afrique compte actuellement 136.000 particuliers fortun\u00e9s (HNWI) dont la valeur est \u00e9gale ou sup\u00e9rieure \u00e0 1 million de dollars. L\u2019Afrique du Sud est en t\u00eate pour le nombre de HNWI, et l\u2019\u00c9gypte a pris le relais pour le plus grand nombre de milliardaires. Cela est d\u00fb \u00e0 une tendance observ\u00e9e dans le rapport sur la migration des HNWI sud-africains.
