Un peu partout dans le d\u00e9partement, des tas de coton sont abandonn\u00e9s, sous les rayons solaires et la pluie.<\/p>\n

Le pr\u00e9fet, Beramgoto Germain, \u00e9voque une situation \u00ab tr\u00e8s alarmante \u00bb, qui pourrait d\u00e9courager les producteurs de coton.<\/p>\n

\u00ab C\u2019est une situation tr\u00e8s alarmante que les producteurs de la Kabbia sont en train de vivre \u00bb, alerte le pr\u00e9fet, Beramgoto Germain.<\/p>\n

D\u2019apr\u00e8s lui, la Kabbia qui est parmi les grands d\u00e9partements producteurs de coton, sinon le plus grand, est malheureusement, le moins bien loti.<\/p>\n

\u00ab La soci\u00e9t\u00e9 Olam a ses r\u00e8gles que peut-\u00eatre j\u2019ignore, mais jusqu\u2019aujourd\u2019hui, beaucoup de cotons se trouvent encore entre les mains des producteurs.<\/p>\n

Ce n\u2019est pas normal.<\/p>\n

Il y a des centres d\u2019achat qui ont \u00e9t\u00e9 ouverts, les gens y ont mis les cotons en tas.<\/p>\n

Et c\u2019est rest\u00e9 comme \u00e7a sous la pluie \u00bb, d\u00e9plore-t-il.<\/p>\n

Lorqu\u2019Olam, le g\u00e9ant singapourien, qui d\u00e9tient la grande part ( 60% ) de la Coton Tchad\/SN, enl\u00e8ve le coton, constate le pr\u00e9fet, le paiement ne se fait pas imm\u00e9diatement.<\/p>\n

\u00ab Les producteurs attendent un \u00e0 deux mois avant d\u2019entrer en possession de leurs dus.<\/p>\n

Dans certaines zones, les gens n\u2019ont fait que du coton.<\/p>\n

Ils attendent la vente de ces cotons l\u00e0 pour acheter des c\u00e9r\u00e9ales et trouver des solutions \u00e0 d\u2019autres probl\u00e8mes qui se posent.<\/p>\n

Malheureusement, le coton de 2021 \u00e0 mai 2022 n\u2019est pas encore enlev\u00e9.<\/p>\n

Cela d\u00e9courage \u00e9norm\u00e9ment les producteurs \u00bb, se d\u00e9sole-t-il.<\/p>\n

Une autre difficult\u00e9 de transport du coton reste le mauvais \u00e9tat des pistes.<\/p>\n

\u00ab Nos pistes sont des traces des b\u00e9tails que nous empruntons pour nous d\u00e9placer.<\/p>\n

Je me demande est-ce qu\u2019Olam va ressusciter la piste cotonni\u00e8re ? Surtout que les responsables de cette soci\u00e9t\u00e9 \u00e9taient venus \u00e0 Gounou-Gaya pour demander d\u2019augmenter la production.<\/p>\n

Alors que la production actuelle m\u00eame n\u2019est pas enlev\u00e9e.<\/p>\n

On ne comprend rien, c\u2019est un probl\u00e8me de planification \u00e9galement \u00bb, pointe Beramgoto Germain.<\/p>\n

Le premier magistrat du d\u00e9partement de la Kabbia demande \u00e0 Olam et au gouvernement de se \u00ab mettre ensemble pour encourager \u00bb les producteurs.<\/p>\n

Demain, il ne faudrait pas qu\u2019on dise que c\u2019est le producteur qui a abandonn\u00e9 la culture du coton, disculpe-t-il.<\/p>\n

\u00ab Il y a beaucoup de gens qui sont motiv\u00e9s \u00e0 pratiquer la culture du coton parce qu\u2019il y a l\u2019apport de l\u2019engrais \u00bb, se satisfait-il, en d\u00e9pit de cette situation.<\/p>\n
