Africa-Press<\/a> – Tchad<\/a>. <\/strong><\/span>Le pr\u00e9sident sud-africain, Cyril Ramaphosa a r\u00e9ceptionn\u00e9 lundi \u00e0 l\u2019a\u00e9roport international OR Tambo de Johannesburg, le premier lot d\u2019un million de doses de vaccin contre le coronavirus.Ramaphosa, le vice-pr\u00e9sident David Mabuza, le ministre de la Sant\u00e9 Zweli Mkhize et d\u2019autres hauts fonctionnaires ont accueilli les m\u00e9dicaments contre la Covid-19, peu apr\u00e8s leur arriv\u00e9e en provenance de l\u2019Inde.<\/p>\n

R\u00e9futant la d\u00e9sinformation concernant l\u2019administration des vaccins, Ramaphosa a pr\u00e9cis\u00e9 qu\u2019aucun Sud-africain ne serait oblig\u00e9 de prendre les injections.<\/p>\n

Il a cependant d\u00e9clar\u00e9 que son gouvernement avait pr\u00e9vu que le premier million de vaccins serait destin\u00e9 \u00e0 vacciner les travailleurs de la sant\u00e9, \u00e0 un moment o\u00f9 le pays est en proie \u00e0 une flamb\u00e9e d\u2019infections aliment\u00e9e par une nouvelle variante du coronavirus.<\/p>\n

\u00ab Une fois que nous aurons termin\u00e9 la vaccination des travailleurs de la sant\u00e9, nous passerons \u00e0 la deuxi\u00e8me phase de la strat\u00e9gie nationale de vaccination qui comprendra les travailleurs essentiels, les personnes de plus de 60 ans et les personnes souffrant de comorbidit\u00e9s (autres maladies).\u00bb<\/p>\n

La troisi\u00e8me phase du programme de vaccination ciblerait le reste de la population, a-t-il ajout\u00e9. S\u2019exprimant lundi soir \u00e0 son retour de l\u2019a\u00e9roport, Ramaphosa a \u00e9galement annonc\u00e9 la lev\u00e9e de l\u2019interdiction de la vente et de la distribution d\u2019alcool, une d\u00e9cision salu\u00e9e par l\u2019industrie du tourisme et ses secteurs connexes, notamment les brasseries et les vignobles \u00e0 travers le pays.<\/p>\n

Ramaphosa a indiqu\u00e9 qu\u2019une baisse du nombre de nouveaux cas de Covid-19 signifiait que le pays pourrait commencer \u00e0 assouplir certaines des restrictions dans le cadre du confinement actuel qui est de niveau 3.<\/p>\n

D\u2019autres d\u00e9veloppements dans l\u2019assouplissement des restrictions ont trait \u00e0 la r\u00e9duction du couvre-feu, l\u2019allocation de seulement 50 personnes lors des rassemblements confessionnels \u00e0 l\u2019int\u00e9rieur et la limitation \u00e0 seulement 100 personnes lorsque les pri\u00e8res ont lieu \u00e0 l\u2019ext\u00e9rieur, a-t-il d\u00e9clar\u00e9.<\/p>\n

Les aventuriers en plein air devraient se r\u00e9jouir de la r\u00e9ouverture de lieux publics comme les plages, les barrages, les fleuves, les parcs et les piscines publiques, comme annonc\u00e9 par le pr\u00e9sident.<\/p>\n
