Africa-Press – Tchad. <\/strong><\/span>Log\u00e9 au quartier Gassi dans le 7\u00e8me arrondissement municipal de N\u2019Djamena, le centre de formation en athl\u00e9tisme est cr\u00e9\u00e9 le 16 f\u00e9vrier 2017. Ce centre est n\u00e9 gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 une initiative de la F\u00e9d\u00e9ration Tchadienne d\u2019Athl\u00e9tisme (FTA), lors d\u2019un test organis\u00e9 pour recruter 80 jeunes athl\u00e8tes dont 40 filles et 40 gar\u00e7ons.<\/p>\n

L\u2019objectif de ce centre est de former les jeunes pour avoir une meilleure performance afin de comp\u00e9tir normalement que ce soit au niveau national et international. \u00ab Une fois qu\u2019un ou plusieurs athl\u00e8tes de ce centre soient s\u00e9lectionn\u00e9 par la f\u00e9d\u00e9ration pour aller \u00e0 une comp\u00e9tition \u00e0 l\u2019international l\u2019enti\u00e8re responsabilit\u00e9 incombe la f\u00e9d\u00e9ration \u00bb, pr\u00e9cise les responsables. Depuis la cr\u00e9ation de ce centre, plus de 200 athl\u00e8tes ont \u00e9t\u00e9 form\u00e9. Les mouvements se font tellement rares ces derniers temps pour des raisons d\u2019\u00e9tudes et le centre perd chaque ann\u00e9e ses athl\u00e8tes.<\/p>\n

<\/a>Pour le coach de ce centre, Hassan Youssouf Mando, le recrutement au sein du club se fait sans argent mais en commun accord avec les parents du sportif. Pour ce qui est des difficult\u00e9s, depuis la cr\u00e9ation, le centre n\u2019a pas un pr\u00e9sident, ni un sponsor officiel. \u00ab Ces difficult\u00e9s font que le centre est en perte de ses membres et peine \u00e0 se d\u00e9velopper normalement \u00bb, explique-t-il. Les projets \u00e0 long et court terme pour ce centre est de former et mettre \u00e0 la disposition de la F\u00e9d\u00e9ration Tchadienne d\u2019Athl\u00e9tisme (FTA) des athl\u00e8tes et leur permettre de trouver de contrats ailleurs si le besoin se manifeste. Hassan Youssouf Mando lance par ailleurs un vibrant appel aux personnes de bonne volont\u00e9, aux ONG et aux multinationales de venir au secours de ce centre afin de lui permettre de bien veiller sur les athl\u00e8tes.<\/p>\n

Signalons que quelques athl\u00e8tes de centre sont qualifi\u00e9s pour la comp\u00e9tition d\u2019Afrique Centrale qui se tiendra du 18 au 22 juin 2022 \u00e0 Douala au Cameroun dans la cat\u00e9gorie junior de la course \u00e0 savoir : Kilambaye Ludovic (100 m et 200 m), Milamem Sylvie (100 m) et Djekouamgoto Sylviane (100 m).<\/p>\n
