Africa-Press – Tchad. <\/strong><\/span>Le 28 juin, les corps de 18 personnes, vraisemblablement des Tchadiens et deux Libyens, auraient \u00e9t\u00e9 retrouv\u00e9s pr\u00e8s de la fronti\u00e8re avec le Tchad.<\/p>\n

Selon les services d’ambulance et d’urgence libyens, le groupe serait mort de d\u00e9shydratation.<\/p>\n

\u00ab La mort de vingt personnes dans le d\u00e9sert libyen est un nouveau signal d’alarme pour l’ensemble de la communaut\u00e9 internationale et un rappel que nous sommes tr\u00e8s loin d’atteindre l’objectif de \u2018ne laisser personne derri\u00e8re\u2019, le mantra de l’Agenda 2030 \u00bb, d\u00e9clare Federico Soda, chef de mission de l’OIM en Libye.<\/p>\n

\u00ab Les pertes de vies humaines auxquelles nous assistons en mer M\u00e9diterran\u00e9e et dans les d\u00e9serts du sud de la Libye sont \u00e0 la fois inacceptables et \u00e9vitables \u00bb, a-t-il ajout\u00e9.<\/p>\n

Le d\u00e9sert du Sahara fait partie des routes migratoires les plus p\u00e9rilleuses et les plus meurtri\u00e8res du monde.<\/p>\n

Selon le projet Migrants disparus de l’OIM, plus de 2.000 d\u00e9c\u00e8s de migrants ont \u00e9t\u00e9 document\u00e9s depuis 2014 dans le seul d\u00e9sert du Sahara, mais les experts estiment que les chiffres sont plus \u00e9lev\u00e9s.<\/p>\n
