Une d\u00e9cision a \u00e9t\u00e9 adopt\u00e9e par le Comit\u00e9 minist\u00e9riel de l\u2019Union mon\u00e9taire de l\u2019Afrique centrale (UMAC).<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Au terme de la double session ordinaire et extraordinaire du 20 juillet 2022 \u00e0 Douala au Cameroun, la Banque des Etats de l\u2019Afrique centrale (BEAC) a adopt\u00e9 une d\u00e9cision visant \u00e0 mettre en circulation une nouvelle gamme de billets et de pi\u00e8ces. La d\u00e9cision est conforme \u00e0 l\u2019article 33 des statuts qui conf\u00e8re le pouvoir \u00e0 la BEAC d\u2019injecter.<\/p>\n<p>La nouvelle gamme sera en circulation dans des six pays de la sous-r\u00e9gion Cemac. Notamment, le Tchad, Cameroun, Congo, Gabon, RCA et la Guin\u00e9e \u00e9quatoriale. La pr\u00e9sentation de cette nouvelle s\u00e9rie de billets et de pi\u00e8ces se fera \u00e0 l\u2019occasion de la c\u00e9l\u00e9bration du cinquantenaire de la Beac en novembre 2022, \u00e0 N\u2019Djamena dans la capitale du Tchad. Et le lancement se fera d\u00e8s le 1er janvier 2022.<\/p>\n<p>er Les unit\u00e9s actuelles, \u00e0 savoir 500, 2000, 1000, 5000 et 10 000 FCFA seront maintenus, apprend-on de diverses sources. N\u00e9anmoins, des sp\u00e9cimens de 250 F seront inject\u00e9s dans la nouvelle gamme, confient certaines sources.
