Africa-Press – Tchad. <\/strong><\/span>Le comit\u00e9 interparlementaire en collaboration avec le conseil national de transition organisent du 21 au 22 juillet 2022 la conf\u00e9rence des pr\u00e9sidents du comit\u00e9 interparlementaire du G5 Sahel \u00e0 l\u2019h\u00f4tel Radisson blu.<\/p>\n

Plac\u00e9e sous le th\u00e8me \u00ab le r\u00f4le de parlementaires dans la lutte contre l\u2019extr\u00e9misme violent au sahel \u00bb, cette conf\u00e9rence des pr\u00e9sidents du comit\u00e9 interparlementaire du G5 Sahel vise a examin\u00e9 les textes statutaires dudit comit\u00e9 en vue d\u2019am\u00e9liorer le fonctionnement de cette institution pour l\u2019adapter aux contingences du moment. Prenant la parole, Seini Oumarou, pr\u00e9sident de l\u2019Assembl\u00e9e nationale du Niger, a rappel\u00e9 l\u2019engagement, les efforts et sacrifices consentis par les autorit\u00e9s tchadiennes pour en faire l\u2019instrument du retour \u00e0 la qui\u00e9tude au Sahel. \u00ab Cette organisation est sujette \u00e0 un doute existentiel, mon souhait est qu\u2019avec tous nos autres chefs d\u2019Etats, soient prises des d\u00e9cisions qu\u2019appelle la situation actuelle pour refonder le G5 Sahel avec des pr\u00e9rogatives encore plus op\u00e9rationnelle en mati\u00e8re de ripostes contre la gu\u00e9rilla des terroristes et \u00e9galement en mati\u00e8re d\u2019investissements \u00e9conomiques pour lutter contre la pauvret\u00e9, terreau fertile du terrorisme \u00bb, indique Seini Oumarou.<\/p>\n

Apr\u00e8s avoir \u00e9num\u00e9rer les d\u00e9fis auxquels est confront\u00e9 l\u2019espace G5 Sahel et les efforts consentis par les parlementaires, le pr\u00e9sident du conseil national de transition du Tchad, Dr Haroun Kabadi, indique qu\u2019il y a l\u2019imp\u00e9rieuse n\u00e9cessit\u00e9 d\u2019une meilleure collaboration et d\u2019une r\u00e9elle synergie d\u2019actions de l\u2019ensemble des pays dans la lutte contre le terrorisme. \u00ab A cet \u00e9gard, nous esp\u00e9rons vivement que le Mali, membre \u00e0 part du G5 Sahel, apr\u00e8s la lev\u00e9e des sanctions de la Cedeao, retrouve rapidement toute sa place au sein de notre organisation, car son retrait du G5-Sahel apr\u00e8s seulement six (6) ann\u00e9es d\u2019existence, pr\u00e9sente des difficult\u00e9s, des enjeux et de d\u00e9fis dans l\u2019op\u00e9rationnalisation, l\u2019organisation et dans le fonctionnement de notre institution \u00bb, souligne Dr Haroun Kabadi, pr\u00e9sident en exercice du comit\u00e9 interparlementaire du G5-Sahel. Il ajoute que, \u00ab seule une forte dynamique commune, impuls\u00e9e par un \u00e9lan collectif de solidarit\u00e9 et de compl\u00e9mentarit\u00e9, (\u2026) permettra de gagner cette guerre contre le terrorisme, une guerre asym\u00e9trique, une guerre de nerf et d\u2019usure \u00bb.<\/p>\n

Pour ce qui est de l\u2019extr\u00e9misme violent, Dr Harou Kabadi dit qu\u2019il est ind\u00e9niable que la pr\u00e9carit\u00e9 dans la vie des populations, les vuln\u00e9rabilit\u00e9s diverses et la faiblesse des institutions \u00e9tatiques sont autant de s\u00e8ve qui nourrissent le terreau du terrorisme et de l\u2019extr\u00e9misme violent. \u00ab Dans ces conditions, il est bien \u00e9videmment urgent et imp\u00e9rieux, que notre institution engage une r\u00e9flexion pointue et pertinente sur cette lancinante question \u00bb.<\/p>\n
