Africa-Press<\/a> – Tchad<\/a>. <\/strong><\/span>Pour combattre le terrorisme dans les pays du Sahel, 1200 soldats tchadiens ont \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9ploy\u00e9s dans la zone des trois fronti\u00e8res, Mali, Niger et Burkina. L\u2019information a \u00e9t\u00e9 donn\u00e9e le 15 f\u00e9vrier 2021 par le Mar\u00e9chal du Tchad<\/b><\/p>\n

En marge de la septi\u00e8me conf\u00e9rence des chefs d\u2019Etat organis\u00e9e \u00e0 N\u2019Djamena, le chef d\u2019Etat tchadien, Idriss Deby Itno a annonc\u00e9 le d\u00e9ploiement de 1200 militaires tchadiens pour combattre le terrorisme dans les zones des trois fronti\u00e8res. Notamment, le Niger, du Mali et du Burkina Faso.<\/p>\n

Le ministre tchadien en charge des arm\u00e9es, Mahamat Abali Salah a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 : \u00ab nous sommes d\u00e9j\u00e0 sur le terrain \u00bb, pour confirmer que les soldats sont d\u00e9j\u00e0 sur le terrain. Il a fait la d\u00e9claration \u00e0 N\u2019Guini, au Niger, pr\u00e8s de la fronti\u00e8re avec le Tchad, en pr\u00e9sence des ministres de la d\u00e9fense du G5 Sahel (Tchad, Niger, Mauritanie, Burkina Faso). Les soldats pr\u00e9sents \u00e0 la fronti\u00e8re Tchad-Niger seront d\u00e9ploy\u00e9s dans la r\u00e9gion du Liptako-gourma dans le cadre de la lutte anti-djihadiste.<\/p>\n

L\u2019envoi des troupes tchadiennes avait \u00e9t\u00e9 annonc\u00e9 un an plus t\u00f4t, au Sommet de Pau en France. Il visait \u00e0 renforcer les troupes compte tenu du retrait progressif de l\u2019arm\u00e9e fran\u00e7aise du sahel. Les soldats tchadiens n\u2019ont finalement pas \u00e9t\u00e9 envoy\u00e9s dans la zone des trois fronti\u00e8res en 2020 parce qu\u2019ils devaient combattre les terroristes qui s\u00e9vissaient \u00e0 Bohoma, dans la province du Lac au Tchad.
