Africa-Press – Tchad. <\/strong><\/span>Une r\u00e9union d’urgence consacr\u00e9e au d\u00e9bordement des eaux du fleuve Bahr-Azoum, a \u00e9t\u00e9 pr\u00e9sid\u00e9e le 16 ao\u00fbt 2022 par le gouverneur du Salamat, Abdoulaye Ibrahim Siam.<\/p>\n

Organis\u00e9e \u00e0 la r\u00e9sidence du gouverneur, cette rencontre a regroup\u00e9 les autorit\u00e9s administratives, civiles et militaires, responsables des partis politiques, repr\u00e9sentants des ONG et de la soci\u00e9t\u00e9 civile.<\/p>\n

Les inondations du fleuve Bahr-Azoum ont mis pour la \u00e9ni\u00e8me fois, la province du Salamat dans un \u00e9tat de vuln\u00e9rabilit\u00e9. Beaucoup de concitoyens sont devenus victimes du sinistre caus\u00e9 par les d\u00e9g\u00e2ts des abondantes eaux des pluies et du fleuve.<\/p>\n

L’objectif de la rencontre d’urgence est de mobilier toutes les sensibilit\u00e9s afin qu’elles se saisissent de la situation pour qu’un plan d’urgence efficient et efficace soit \u00e9labor\u00e9.<\/p>\n

Selon le gouverneur Abdoulaye Ibrahim Siam, depuis la survenance de ces inondations, plusieurs cons\u00e9quences collat\u00e9rales sont en train d’\u00eatre enregistr\u00e9es.<\/p>\n

Il s’agit entre autres des pertes en vies humaines caus\u00e9es par des noyades, la recrudescence des pathologies li\u00e9es \u00e0 ce ph\u00e9nom\u00e8ne, l’\u00e9croulement des habitations et l’impraticabilit\u00e9 des voies urbaines et interurbaines. D’immenses superficies d’exploitation agricole ont \u00e9t\u00e9 compl\u00e8tement englouties par les inond\u00e9es.<\/p>\n

Des institutions comme le gouvernorat, la maison d’arr\u00eat, le tribunal de grande instance d’Am-Timan, l’ONAPE, le stade omnisports et le lyc\u00e9e en chantier et le march\u00e9 moderne sont sous la domination des eaux du fleuve. Des quartiers sont \u00e9galement touch\u00e9s.<\/p>\n

Apr\u00e8s la rencontre, cap est mis sur le quartier Goz-mabil\u00e9 o\u00f9 le gouverneur est venu s’enqu\u00e9rir ede la situation des sinistr\u00e9s, et des s\u00e9rieux d\u00e9g\u00e2ts caus\u00e9s sur la seule route qui relie la province aux autres localit\u00e9s.<\/p>\n

Malheureusement, l’unique voie permettant d’acc\u00e9der au Salamat est compl\u00e8tement d\u00e9truite depuis le 12 ao\u00fbt, faisant du Salamat une province d\u00e9finitivement coup\u00e9e du reste du Tchad.<\/p>\n

Limit\u00e9 face \u00e0 la force de la nature, le gouverneur a saisi l’occasion pour lancer un cri d’alarme aux plus hautes autorit\u00e9s de la R\u00e9publique, au premier rang le pr\u00e9sident de la transition, Mahamat Idriss D\u00e9by Itno.<\/p>\n
