Africa-Press<\/a> – Tchad<\/a>. <\/strong><\/span>Le principal opposant au Tchad, Saleh Kebzabo, a retir\u00e9, lundi 1er mars, sa candidature de la pr\u00e9sidentielle du 11 avril en accusant le pr\u00e9sident Idriss D\u00e9by Itno, grand favori pour un sixi\u00e8me mandat, d\u2019intimider ses rivaux par l\u2019usage de la force.<\/p>\n

M. Kebzabo, \u00e0 quatre reprises candidat malheureux contre M. D\u00e9by, a annonc\u00e9 son retrait au lendemain d\u2019une sanglante tentative d\u2019arrestation par l\u2019arm\u00e9e \u00e0 son domicile \u00e0 N\u2019Djamena d\u2019un autre candidat d\u00e9clar\u00e9, qui s\u2019est sold\u00e9e par la mort d\u2019au moins trois personnes : la m\u00e8re du candidat et deux militaires.<\/p>\n

Condamnant \u00ab l\u2019attaque militaire du domicile de M. Yaya Dillo Djerou \u00bb, le d\u00e9put\u00e9 de l\u2019opposition a d\u00e9nonc\u00e9 \u00ab le climat d\u2019ins\u00e9curit\u00e9 qui entachera certainement la campagne \u00e9lectorale pour les candidats qui vont affronter M. D\u00e9by \u00bb, lequel dirige le Tchad d\u2019une main de fer depuis plus de 30 ans. Et M. Kebzabo, invoquant \u00ab une militarisation \u00e9vidente du climat politique \u00bb, a annonc\u00e9 le retrait de sa candidature, \u00ab pour ne pas avoir \u00e0 servir de caution \u00e0 la mascarade qui se pr\u00e9pare sur une grande \u00e9chelle \u00bb.<\/p>\n

Cet ancien journaliste, arriv\u00e9 troisi\u00e8me \u00e0 la pr\u00e9sidentielle de 1996, s\u2019\u00e9tait ralli\u00e9 au chef de l\u2019Etat au second tour, avant d\u2019entrer dans son gouvernement. Il y encha\u00eenera les portefeuilles jusqu\u2019\u00e0 sa rupture avec M. D\u00e9by en 1999, qu\u2019il affrontera encore sans succ\u00e8s aux pr\u00e9sidentielles de 2001, 2006 et 2016.<\/p>\n

Portail d\u00e9fonc\u00e9 par un blind\u00e9<\/b><\/p>\n

Dimanche, la police \u00e9paul\u00e9e par des militaires lourdement arm\u00e9s et des blind\u00e9s ont tent\u00e9 d\u2019arr\u00eater l\u2019opposant et candidat d\u00e9clar\u00e9 Yaya Dillo \u00e0 son domicile de N\u2019Djamena, en vertu de deux mandats d\u2019amener de la justice pour \u00ab diffamation et injures \u00bb \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9gard de l\u2019\u00e9pouse du chef de l\u2019Etat.<\/p>\n

Le mouvement de M. Dillo, le Front nouveau pour le changement (FNC), a assur\u00e9 dans un communiqu\u00e9 que cinq membres de la famille de l\u2019opposant, dont sa m\u00e8re, ont \u00e9t\u00e9 tu\u00e9s par un corps d\u2019\u00e9lite de l\u2019arm\u00e9e qui ont \u00ab d\u00e9fonc\u00e9 son portail avec un char blind\u00e9 \u00bb.<\/p>\n

Une version contredite lundi par le ministre des affaires \u00e9trang\u00e8res, Amine Abba Sidick, devant le corps diplomatique : \u00ab Un tir de l\u2019int\u00e9rieur visant les forces de l\u2019ordre a atteint mortellement la m\u00e8re de Yaya Dillo \u00bb, a-t-il affirm\u00e9, ajoutant que deux militaires ont \u00e9t\u00e9 tu\u00e9s dans un blind\u00e9 dans la cour de l\u2019opposant. Selon le ministre, \u00ab M. Dillo et cinq hommes arm\u00e9s de fusils de guerre \u00bb ont ouvert le feu sur les forces de l\u2019ordre d\u00e8s leur arriv\u00e9e. Puis un blind\u00e9 l\u00e9ger est entr\u00e9 dans la cour du domicile et a \u00e9t\u00e9 pris d\u2019assaut, deux membres de l\u2019\u00e9quipage ont \u00e9t\u00e9 tu\u00e9s.<\/p>\n

Dans la cohue, les soldats \u00ab ont laiss\u00e9 partir des civils \u00bb et M. Dillo \u00ab s\u2019est probablement \u00e9chapp\u00e9 en se cachant parmi eux \u00bb, a assur\u00e9 le ministre. \u00ab Sa position demeure inconnue \u00bb, a confirm\u00e9 lundi le procureur de la R\u00e9publique de N\u2019Djamena, Youssouf Tom.<\/p>\n

Ancien chef rebelle et membre de la m\u00eame ethnie Zaghawa que M. D\u00e9by, Yaya Dillo Djerou avait ralli\u00e9 en 2007 le pr\u00e9sident D\u00e9by, dont il \u00e9tait devenu ministre avant d\u2019occuper plusieurs postes de conseiller \u00e0 la pr\u00e9sidence. Il fut ensuite repr\u00e9sentant du Tchad \u00e0 la Commission des Etats de l\u2019Afrique centrale (C\u00e9mac) jusqu\u2019en 2020, avant de rejoindre l\u2019opposition. Lundi, quelques blind\u00e9s et des membres de la garde pr\u00e9sidentielle et de la gendarmerie \u00e9taient encore positionn\u00e9s pr\u00e8s du domicile de M. Dillo, a constat\u00e9 un journaliste de l\u2019AFP.<\/p>\n

\u00ab Restrictions disproportionn\u00e9es \u00bb<\/b><\/p>\n

L\u2019acc\u00e8s \u00e0 l\u2019Internet mobile, quasiment impossible dimanche, \u00e9tait encore fortement perturb\u00e9 lundi. Depuis plusieurs semaines, le gouvernement interdit syst\u00e9matiquement et r\u00e9prime durement toute manifestation de l\u2019opposition et de la soci\u00e9t\u00e9 civile qui r\u00e9clame \u00ab l\u2019alternance et plus de justice sociale \u00bb.<\/p>\n

L\u2019organisation non gouvernementale de d\u00e9fense des droits humains Amnesty International a d\u00e9nonc\u00e9 des \u00ab restrictions non n\u00e9cessaires et disproportionn\u00e9es du droit \u00e0 la libert\u00e9 de r\u00e9union pacifique \u00bb et des \u00ab arrestations arbitraires \u00bb.<\/p>\n

Outre M. D\u00e9by, une quinzaine de personnes ont annonc\u00e9 leur intention de d\u00e9poser leur candidature \u00e0 la pr\u00e9sidentielle, mais la Cour supr\u00eame doit publier dans les jours \u00e0 venir la liste de celles qui sont officiellement retenues.<\/p>\n

Cet \u00e9miettement de l\u2019opposition \u2013 r\u00e9elle ou de fa\u00e7ade, selon les politologues \u2013, comme pour tous les pr\u00e9c\u00e9dents scrutins, semble garantir une r\u00e9\u00e9lection confortable \u00e0 M.
