Africa-Press – Tchad. <\/strong><\/span>Dans un communique\u0301 de presse de ce 11 novembre 2022, le ministre des Finances fait savoir que, le Tchad premier pays a\u0300 parvenir a\u0300 un accord sur sa dette au sein du Cadre Commun du G20.<\/p>\n

Au terme de deux anne\u0301es de discussions avec ses principaux cre\u0301anciers exte\u0301rieurs, le Tchad parvient a\u0300 un accord sur le traitement de sa dette exte\u0301rieure au sein du Cadre Commun avec le Comite\u0301 des cre\u0301anciers bilate\u0301raux officiels d\u2019une part, et Glencore d\u2019autre part. L\u2019information a e\u0301te\u0301 donne\u0301ee par le ministre des Finances, Tahir Hamid Nguilin.<\/p>\n

Le ministre des Finances de rappeler que, le Tchad avait adhe\u0301re\u0301 au Cadre Commun pour les traitements de dette du G20 et du Club de Paris dans le cadre de son programme de Facilite\u0301 E\u0301largie de Cre\u0301dit (FEC) et avec le soutien de la Banque Mondiale, du Club de Paris et du Comite\u0301 des cre\u0301anciers bilate\u0301raux officiels co-pre\u0301side\u0301 par la France et l\u2019Arabie Saoudite.<\/p>\n

\u00ab Les parame\u0300tres de ce traitement de la dette sont conformes aux engagements pris par le Tchad dans le cadre de son programme FEC avec le FMI ainsi qu\u2019aux principes du Cadre Commun, et permettent de restaurer la soutenabilite\u0301 de la dette publique, tout en assurant une protection contre la volatilite\u0301 des prix du pe\u0301trole gra\u0302ce a\u0300 l\u2019introduction de me\u0301canismes de traitement contingent. \u00bb<\/p>\n

Ces accords, dans la continuite\u0301 de ceux conclus avec Glencore en 2018, permettront la poursuite du programme avec le FMI, la conclusion de la prochaine revue de la Facilite\u0301 E\u0301largie de Cre\u0301dit et le de\u0301caissement d\u2019une nouvelle tranche de financement au be\u0301ne\u0301fice du Tchad d\u2019ici fin de\u0301cembre 2022, apre\u0300s de\u0301cision du Conseil d\u2019Administration du FMI.<\/p>\n
