Africa-Press – Tchad. <\/strong><\/span>Le projet ACCEPT (Adapter l\u2019acce\u0300s aux ressources agro-pastorales dans un contexte de mobilite\u0301 et de changement climatique pour l’e\u0301levage pastoral au Tchad), a tenu ce 22 novembre 2022, sa troisie\u0300me re\u0301union du Comite\u0301 scientifique, qui a re\u0301uni plusieurs participants scientifiques, dans les locaux dudit projet.<\/p>\n

Cette re\u0301union vise a\u0300 renforcer la re\u0301silience des me\u0301nages pastoraux et agro-pastoraux par des activite\u0301s de recherche-de\u0301veloppement.<\/p>\n

L\u2019objectif ge\u0301ne\u0301ral de cette rencontre vise a\u0300 permettre aussi aux membres du Comite\u0301 scientifique, de suivre la mise en \u0153uvre des recommandations de la deuxie\u0300me re\u0301union, et de fournir leurs avis externes sur les orientations scientifiques des activite\u0301s en cours.<\/p>\n

Dans son mot d\u2019introduction, le directeur ge\u0301ne\u0301ral adjoint de l’Institut de recherche en e\u0301levage pour le de\u0301veloppement (IRED), Dr Ngandolo Bongo, affirme que cette rencontre virtuelle est un \u00ab un cadre de renforcement des capacite\u0301s de son institution, en que\u0302te permanente des ressources humaines qualifie\u0301es dans le cadre de la production animale \u00bb. C’est aussi le moment d’e\u0301valuer les productions scientifiques qui sont sorties de ces investissements, car c’est la seule occasion pour se voir aller de l’avant.<\/p>\n

Les membres du Comite\u0301 scientifique se pencheront sur : le suivi de la mise en \u0153uvre effective des recommandations de la deuxie\u0300me re\u0301union, l’examen des rapports sur les recherches en cours (essais en alimentation animale, barrages souterrains, outils d’aide a\u0300 la de\u0301cision sur la gouvernance des ressources, syste\u0300mes d’e\u0301levage, syste\u0300mes d’e\u0301levage et performance des travaux, se\u0301curisation des chemins d’acce\u0300s a\u0300 l’eau), et la mise a\u0300 jour sur l’e\u0301volution des the\u0300ses de doctorat appuye\u0301es par le projet. Au terme de cette re\u0301union, le Conseil scientifique formulera de nouvelles recommandations et rapports qui tiennent lieu des re\u0301sultats attendus.<\/p>\n

Pour rappel, ce projet a e\u0301te\u0301 initie\u0301 par un consortium constitue\u0301 de l’RED, de la PPT et du CIRAD. II comporte trois composantes, notamment : la production\/mise a\u0300 jour des connaissances sur l’e\u0301levage pastoral pour comprendre et accompagner les strate\u0301gies d’adaptation aux changements climatiques, la co-conception d’innovations pour ame\u0301liorer l’accessibilite\u0301 aux ressources agro-pastorales et la co-e\u0301laboration d’outils d’aide a\u0300 la de\u0301cision (OAD), pour faciliter l’adaptation au changement climatique et contribuer a\u0300 la pre\u0301vention et la gestion des conflits.<\/p>\n
