Africa-Press<\/a> – Tchad<\/a>. <\/strong><\/span>Le mar\u00e9chal-pr\u00e9sident Idriss D\u00e9by Itno, au pouvoir sans partage depuis 30 ans au Tchad, brigue dimanche un 6e mandat qui ne pourra lui \u00e9chapper, face \u00e0 six candidats faisant p\u00e2le figure et apr\u00e8s avoir \u00e9cart\u00e9, parfois violemment, les rares t\u00e9nors d’une opposition divis\u00e9e qui pouvaient lui faire un peu d’ombre.<\/p>\n

Vendredi apr\u00e8s-midi, pour le meeting de cl\u00f4ture du pr\u00e9sident D\u00e9by dans un stade archi-comble de N’Djamena, des milliers de jeunes achemin\u00e9s dans la nuit ont brav\u00e9 les 45\u00b0C pour \u00e9couter les 30 minutes de discours du candidat, scandant \u00e0 la moindre occasion \u00ab\u00a0Premier tour K.O.\u00a0\u00bb, \u00ab\u00a0le K.O. est d\u00e9j\u00e0 l\u00e0\u00a0\u00bb.<\/p>\n

\u00ab\u00a0Les dipl\u00f4m\u00e9s ch\u00f4meurs, ne perdez pas espoir ! Nous allons travailler ensemble\u00a0\u00bb, a promis \u00e0 la foule le pr\u00e9sident sortant du troisi\u00e8me pays le moins d\u00e9velopp\u00e9 du Monde, o\u00f9 le ch\u00f4mage touche 22% des moins de 25 ans, selon la Banque mondiale.<\/p>\n

\u00ab\u00a0R\u00e9veillez-vous t\u00f4t dimanche et allez voter massivement\u00a0\u00bb, a-t-il exhort\u00e9, pour que sa victoire soit adoss\u00e9e \u00e0 une forte participation, l’une des seules inconnues de cette \u00e9lection.<\/p>\n

Dans les rues de N’Djamena, la majorit\u00e9 des habitants semblent se d\u00e9sint\u00e9resser d’un scrutin \u00ab\u00a0jou\u00e9 d’avance\u00a0\u00bb et tentent p\u00e9niblement de joindre les deux bouts, entre deux coupures d’eau et d’\u00e9lectricit\u00e9, parfois plusieurs jours d’affil\u00e9e.<\/p>\n

Depuis plusieurs mois, le r\u00e9gime interdit syst\u00e9matiquement les \u00ab\u00a0marches pacifiques pour l’alternance\u00a0\u00bb que tentent d’organiser chaque samedi les partis d’opposition les plus virulents. Et la redoutable police anti-\u00e9meutes, le GMIP, disperse manu militari chaque d\u00e9but de rassemblement, lesquels n’attirent pas plus que quelques dizaines de convaincus ou t\u00e9m\u00e9raires. L’ONG Human Rights Watch (HRW) a qualifi\u00e9 jeudi de \u00ab\u00a0r\u00e9pression implacable\u00a0\u00bb cet usage de la force.<\/p>\n

Mais rien n’y fait, le mar\u00e9chal D\u00e9by fait campagne principalement sur la \u00ab\u00a0paix et la s\u00e9curit\u00e9\u00a0\u00bb dont il dit \u00eatre l’artisan, dans son pays mais aussi dans une r\u00e9gion tourment\u00e9e: le Tchad, enclav\u00e9 entre la Libye, le Soudan, la Centrafrique entre autres, est un contributeur de poids \u00e0 la guerre contre les jihadistes au Sahel, en projetant des troupes aguerries jusqu’au Mali et parfois au Nigeria.<\/p>\n

\u00ab\u00a0Je vais voter Idriss D\u00e9by pour continuer d’avoir la paix et la stabilit\u00e9\u00a0\u00bb, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 \u00e0 l’AFP Khadidja Hamid, qui vend quelques mangues sur un march\u00e9 du quartier populaire de Champ de Fil.<\/p>\n

– Candidatures invalid\u00e9es –<\/p>\n

Dans un autre petit march\u00e9 du quartier d\u00e9favoris\u00e9 de Gassi, dans le brouhaha des engins qui broient le ma\u00efs pour en tirer la farine servant \u00e0 confectionner la boule, le plat national, la plupart des gens ne savent m\u00eame pas qui sont les autres candidats. Ou pensent, \u00e0 l’unisson de l’opposition dure, qu’il s’agit de simples \u00ab\u00a0faire-valoir\u00a0\u00bb inoffensifs et tol\u00e9r\u00e9s par le pouvoir, voire manipul\u00e9s par lui.<\/p>\n

Il y a deux mois encore, 15 partis d’opposition regroup\u00e9s dans une Alliance victoire propulsaient un \u00ab\u00a0candidat unique\u00a0\u00bb face \u00e0 M. D\u00e9by, avant de voler en \u00e9clat. Ce sont finalement 16 pr\u00e9tendants qui se sont avanc\u00e9s pour d\u00e9fier le mar\u00e9chal.<\/p>\n

La Cour supr\u00eame a invalid\u00e9 sept candidatures. Puis trois candidats, dont le rival \u00ab\u00a0historique\u00a0\u00bb Saleh Kebzabo, se sont retir\u00e9s pour protester contre les violences et ont appel\u00e9 au boycott du scrutin, mais la Cour a maintenu leurs noms sur les bulletins de vote qui affichent donc 10 candidats.<\/p>\n

Six seulement d\u00e9fieront le pr\u00e9sident: F\u00e9lix Nialb\u00e9 Romadoumngar, Albert Pahimi Padack\u00e9, Th\u00e9ophile Yombombe Madjitoloum, Baltazar Aladoum Djarma, Brice Mba\u00efmon Guedmbaye et, premi\u00e8re femme candidate de l’histoire du Tchad, Lydie Beassemda.<\/p>\n

– Certain de gagner –<\/p>\n

\u00ab\u00a0Je n’en connais aucun \u00e0 part Pahimi et D\u00e9by. Si \u00e7a doit \u00eatre D\u00e9by, alors OK s’il a la volont\u00e9 de reconstruire le pays, mais si c’est le m\u00eame, alors \u00e7a ne vaut pas la peine d’aller voter\u00a0\u00bb, l\u00e2che Abdel, 34 ans, dans sa petite \u00e9choppe de pi\u00e8ces d\u00e9tach\u00e9es de moto au march\u00e9 de Gassi.<\/p>\n

M. D\u00e9by \u00ab\u00a0a su rouler tout le monde dans la farine, il a embarqu\u00e9 ces gens avec lui dans ses \u00e9garements et dans la gestion de la vie politique, c’est lui qui tire leurs ficelles\u00a0\u00bb, r\u00e9sume le politologue Evariste Ngarlem Tolde, de l’universit\u00e9 de N\u2019Djamena.<\/p>\n

\u00ab\u00a0Qui les emp\u00eache de se pr\u00e9senter? Personne\u00a0\u00bb, r\u00e9torque Jean-Bernard Padar\u00e9, porte-parole du puissant Mouvement Patriotique du Salut (MPS) de M. D\u00e9by, fustigeant ceux qui se sont retir\u00e9s comme M. Kebzabo et appellent au boycott. \u00ab\u00a0Le jeu est ouvert mais ils sont les chefs de partis sans militants\u00a0\u00bb, ass\u00e8ne-t-il.<\/p>\n

\u00ab\u00a0Sans les candidats historiques et avec les moyens consid\u00e9rables mobilis\u00e9s par D\u00e9by, il est certain qu’il va gagner\u00a0\u00bb, r\u00e9sume Kelma Manatouma, chercheur tchadien en sciences politiques \u00e0 l’universit\u00e9 Paris-Nanterre.<\/p>\n

\u00ab\u00a0La seule chose qui compte aux yeux de D\u00e9by, c’est de l’emporter d\u00e8s le premier tour avec une participation importante, pour qu’on ne lui objecte pas qu’il a \u00e9t\u00e9 mal \u00e9lu\u00a0\u00bb, r\u00e9sume un diplomate sous couvert de l’anonymat.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
