Africa-Press – Tchad. <\/strong><\/span>L’ambassadeur du Tchad a\u0300 Yaounde\u0301, rappele\u0301 en avril dernier en raison de \u00ab\u00a0la persistance des diffe\u0301rends entre le Tchad et le Cameroun\u00a0\u00bb, regagne son poste a\u0300 partir de ce mercredi 07 juin, selon un communique\u0301 du ministe\u0300re des Affaires e\u0301trange\u0300res, des Tchadiens de l’e\u0301tranger et de la coope\u0301ration internationale.<\/p>\n

\u00ab\u00a0Le gouvernement du Tchad a de\u0301cide\u0301 que son ambassadeur extraordinaire et ple\u0301nipotentiaire, Son Excellence Monsieur Djidda Moussa Outhman, regagne Yaounde\u0301 a\u0300 partir du 7 juin 2023 pour reprendre ses activite\u0301s\u00a0\u00bb, lit-on dans le communique\u0301 de presse signe\u0301 par Ibrahim Ndam Mahamat, porte-parole du ministe\u0300re tchadien des Affaires e\u0301trange\u0300res.<\/p>\n

Le 20 avril dernier, le Tchad avait fait savoir, a\u0300 travers un communique\u0301, qu\u2019en raison des diffe\u0301rends persistants avec son voisin le Cameroun, il a de\u0301cide\u0301 de rappeler pour consultation son ambassadeur a\u0300 Yaounde\u0301.<\/p>\n

Selon le communique\u0301, cette de\u0301cision est motive\u0301e par \u00ab la persistance des diffe\u0301rends entre le Tchad et le Cameroun, notamment autour de la question de la pre\u0301tendue acquisition des actifs de l\u2019ex-ESSO (ex-filiale du ge\u0301ant ame\u0301ricain des hydrocarbures ExxonMobil) par la ne\u0301buleuse Savannah Energy \u00bb, un groupe e\u0301nerge\u0301tique mondial malaisien.<\/p>\n

\u00ab Par tous les canaux de communication existant entre le Tchad et le Cameroun, la question a e\u0301te\u0301 soumise a\u0300 l\u2019attention du Cameroun, tout en l\u2019informant e\u0301galement des agissements inamicaux et contraires aux inte\u0301re\u0302ts du Tchad pose\u0301s par ses repre\u0301sentants dans les conseils d\u2019administration de Cameroun Oil Transportation Company S.A (COTCO) et Tchad Oil Transportation Co. (TOTCO). Plusieurs lettres de suite ont e\u0301te\u0301 adresse\u0301es aux autorite\u0301s camerounaises, lettres qui sont reste\u0301es sans re\u0301ponses \u00bb, avait de\u0301plore\u0301 le Tchad.<\/p>\n

Les gouvernements du Cameroun et du Tchad avaient maintenu les e\u0301changes pour \u00ab\u00a0aplanir les interpre\u0301tations divergentes des faits\u00a0\u00bb. Le 26 avril, le Pre\u0301sident Biya avait de\u0301pe\u0302che\u0301 a\u0300 N’Djamena le ministre d’Etat et Secre\u0301taire ge\u0301ne\u0301ral de la pre\u0301sidence de la Re\u0301publique Ferdinand Ngoh Ngoh. L’envoye\u0301 spe\u0301cial du pre\u0301sident camerounais avait e\u0301te\u0301 rec\u0327u par le ge\u0301ne\u0301ral Mahamat Idriss De\u0301by Itno, pre\u0301sident de la transition.<\/p>\n

La mission camerounaise avait e\u0301te\u0301 suivie d’un de\u0301placement a\u0300 Yaounde\u0301 du ministre de E\u0301tat et secre\u0301taire ge\u0301ne\u0301ral de la pre\u0301sidence du Tchad.<\/p>\n

Selon le communique\u0301 publie\u0301 ce mercredi par le gouvernement tchadien, les tractations ont \u00ab\u00a0permis de de\u0301samorcer la tension et continuer a\u0300 raffermir davantage cette excellente relation de coope\u0301ration, fraternelle et se\u0301culaire entre les deux pays\u00a0\u00bb.<\/p>\n
