Africa-Press – Tchad. <\/strong><\/span>Le minist\u00e8re des Affaires \u00e9trang\u00e8res, des Tchadiens de l\u2019\u00e9tranger et de la Coop\u00e9ration internationale a servi de cadre au lancement de la campagne de communication pour le changement social et de comportement, ce mardi 03 octobre 2023. L\u2019\u00e9ducation des filles et leadership f\u00e9minin est le th\u00e8me central.<\/p>\n

C\u2019est une initiative du projet pour l\u2019autonomisation des femmes et la dividende d\u00e9mographique au Sahel ( SWEDD Tchad) qui a pour objectif de susciter un changement comportemental et social en favorisant l\u2019\u00e9ducation des filles, la fr\u00e9quentation des structures de sant\u00e9, la promotion de la planification familiale, la cr\u00e9ation des opportunit\u00e9s \u00e9conomiques , l\u2019insertion socioprofessionnelle des jeunes filles, la lutte contre les pratiques n\u00e9fastes notamment les VBG , l\u2019autonomisation et le leadership f\u00e9minin.<\/p>\n

Cette initiative du Projet SWEDD Tchad s\u2019\u00e9tend sur 12 provinces et vise \u00e0 promouvoir l\u2019\u00e9ducation des filles et le leadership f\u00e9minin afin de renforcer le pouvoir \u00e9conomique des femmes et de contribuer \u00e0 la r\u00e9duction de la pauvret\u00e9.<\/p>\n

Cette campagne de communication a un double objectif. \u00ab Ce projet vise globalement \u00e0 acc\u00e9l\u00e9rer la transition d\u00e9mographique \u00e0 travers la r\u00e9duction du taux de f\u00e9condit\u00e9 et de la mortalit\u00e9 infantile, et \u00e0 r\u00e9aliser ainsi les objectifs plus larges qui consistent \u00e0 d\u00e9clencher le dividende d\u00e9mographique notamment les avantages \u00e9conomiques et la r\u00e9duction des in\u00e9galit\u00e9s entre le sexes dans la r\u00e9gion du Sahel \u00bb, explique Youssouf Awar\u00e9 Neissa, coordonnateur national de SWEDD Tchad.<\/p>\n

Ce projet est un v\u00e9ritable outil de transformation sociale comme voudrait faire savoir le Secr\u00e9taire g\u00e9n\u00e9ral du minist\u00e8re de la Prospective \u00e9conomique et des Partenariats Internationaux. \u00ab Gr\u00e2ce au projet SWEDD Tchad, des milliers des femmes et des filles tchadiennes se sentent valoris\u00e9es et ont vu leurs capacit\u00e9s renforc\u00e9es pour une pleine participation \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9conomie nationale. Bref, le projet SWEDD a offert \u00e0 mes s\u0153urs , m\u00e8res et filles , de l\u2019opportunit\u00e9 de pouvoir agir pour leur propre s\u00e9curit\u00e9 et celle de leurs familles \u00bb , s\u2019est exprim\u00e9 Mahamat Cha\u00efb Ibrahim, Secr\u00e9taire G\u00e9n\u00e9ral au minist\u00e8re de la Prospective \u00e9conomique et de Partenariats internationaux.<\/p>\n

Il faut rappeler que le projet Autonomisation des femmes et le Dividende d\u00e9mographique au Sahel (SWEDD) constitue une r\u00e9ponse concentr\u00e9e \u00e0 l\u2019appel des chefs d\u2019Etat des six pays du Sahel \u00e0 savoir le Burkina Faso, la c\u00f4te d\u2019ivoire , le Mali ,la Mauritanie, le Niger et le Tchad, et est mis en \u0153uvre par les structures nationales avec l\u2019appui du Fonds des Nations unies pour la population (UNFPA), l\u2019Organisation Ouest- africaine pour la sant\u00e9 et la Banque mondiale.<\/p>\n
