Cette re\u0301alite\u0301 repre\u0301sente une perte de capital humain conside\u0301rable, et pre\u0301sente un danger pour l’avenir de notre nation.<\/p>\n

Malheureusement, nos autorite\u0301s semblent regarder ailleurs. Le phe\u0301nome\u0300ne des enfants de la rue n’est pas nouveau, et ses causes sont bien connues : ces enfants ont des familles. Pourtant, l’e\u0301ducation et l’insertion de ces jeunes restent un de\u0301fi de taille.<\/p>\n

Le plus pre\u0301occupant est l’absence totale de centres de re\u0301e\u0301ducation et de re\u0301habilitation pour ces enfants. De plus, la politique e\u0301ducative et l’insertion dans la vie active font cruellement de\u0301faut. Le gouvernement a re\u0301cemment adopte\u0301 une initiative visant a\u0300 e\u0301radiquer la mendicite\u0301 infantile, mais cette lutte doit e\u0301galement s’attacher a\u0300 re\u0301soudre le proble\u0300me des enfants de la rue.<\/p>\n

Ne\u0301anmoins, N’Djamena dispose d’un Centre National d’Accueil, de Re\u0301e\u0301ducation et d’Insertion des Enfants Vulne\u0301rables (CNARREV), sous l’e\u0301gide du ministe\u0300re de la Femme et de la Protection de l’enfance. Malheureusement, ce centre n’est que de nom, et les associations de la socie\u0301te\u0301 civile, a\u0300 l\u2019exemple du Centre Akouna Espoir, luttent pour l’e\u0301ducation et l’insertion de ces enfants avec des ressources limite\u0301es.<\/p>\n

Pourtant, malgre\u0301 la rentre\u0301e scolaire, des centaines d’enfants continuent de vivre dans les rues de nos villes. Il est impe\u0301ratif que nos autorite\u0301s quittent leurs bureaux pour affronter cette re\u0301alite\u0301. L’e\u0301ducation de ces enfants doit e\u0302tre une priorite\u0301, car ils repre\u0301sentent un atout pour le de\u0301veloppement du pays. De plus, le manque de chiffres officiels, sur le nombre d’enfants des rues, re\u0301ve\u0300le l’inade\u0301quation de notre politique de protection des enfants vulne\u0301rables.<\/p>\n

Le de\u0301funt pre\u0301sident gabonais, Omar Bongo, disait : \u00ab Le peuple est mon miroir. Quand je les vois sourire, c’est que le pays va bien \u00bb. Or, des centaines d’enfants vivent dans des conditions inhumaines, sans acce\u0300s a\u0300 une alimentation saine, expose\u0301s aux intempe\u0301ries, sous le regard des autorite\u0301s qui ont la responsabilite\u0301 de les prote\u0301ger. Nous posons donc cette question aux autorite\u0301s charge\u0301es de la protection des enfants vulne\u0301rables : quelle est votre mission ?<\/p>\n

Dans une e\u0300re de \u00ab refondation du Tchad \u00bb, la politique e\u0301ducative des enfants des rues ne doit pas e\u0302tre ne\u0301glige\u0301e. Ces enfants constituent une perte de capital humain, et leur ne\u0301gligence repre\u0301sente un danger pour notre socie\u0301te\u0301 si nous continuons a\u0300 ignorer leur existence. Un enfant qui grandit sans culture, loin de l’amour parental, est a\u0300 craindre.<\/p>\n

Par conse\u0301quent, leur e\u0301ducation doit e\u0302tre une priorite\u0301 afin de changer leur trajectoire. La socie\u0301te\u0301 de demain en de\u0301pend.<\/p>\n
