Depuis la cre\u0301ation de la Coupe d’Afrique des nations de football, l’e\u0301quipe nationale de football du Tchad n’a jamais participe\u0301 a\u0300 une phase finale. Mais en 2023, le football tchadien sera repre\u0301sente\u0301 a\u0300 la 34e\u0300me e\u0301dition.<\/p>\n

En effet, l’arbitre Alhadji Allaou Mahamat figure parmi les 26 centraux retenus pour officier. Ne\u0301 le 2 mai 1986, Alhadji Allaou Mahamat est entre\u0301 dans l’arbitrage a\u0300 la faveur d’un stage organise\u0301 en 2007. Apre\u0300s d’autres stages qui lui ont permis de gravir les e\u0301chelons, il est passe\u0301 international FIFA.<\/p>\n

D’abord retenu pour officier a\u0300 la CAN U20 en 2020 en Mauritanie, il a ensuite e\u0301te\u0301 arbitre au championnat d’Afrique des nations (CHAN) en 2023 en Alge\u0301rie. Sa se\u0301lection comme arbitre central a\u0300 la 34e\u0300me e\u0301dition de la Coupe d’Afrique des nations Co\u0302te d’Ivoire 2023, est une conse\u0301cration pour le porte-e\u0301tendard de l’arbitrage tchadien.<\/p>\n

Le match Co\u0302te d’Ivoire-Guine\u0301e E\u0301quatoriale programme\u0301e le 13 janvier, au stade Alassane Ouattara d’Abidjan, donnera le coup d’envoi de la 34e\u0300me e\u0301dition de la CAN. C’est l’aboutissement d’un long processus pour l’organisation par la Co\u0302te d’Ivoire de la phase finale de la CAN, la deuxie\u0300me que le pays de Didier Drogba accueille.<\/p>\n

Le feuilleton a de\u0301bute\u0301 le 20 septembre 2014 lorsque la CAF attribue l’organisation de la CAN 2019 au Cameroun, 2021 a\u0300 la Co\u0302te d’Ivoire et 2023 a\u0300 la Guine\u0301e. En 2018, constatant les retards dans l’avancement des travaux, la CAF ope\u0300re des ajustements. L’organisation de la CAN 2019 est retire\u0301e au Cameroun qui est de\u0301cale\u0301 en 2021.<\/p>\n

Cet ajustement pousse la Co\u0302te d’Ivoire en 2023 et la Guine\u0301e en 2025. Si le Cameroun et la Guine\u0301e acceptent l’ajustement de la CAF, la Co\u0302te d’Ivoire n’est pas du me\u0302me avis et menace de saisir le tribunal arbitral du (TAS).<\/p>\n

Il a fallu une entrevue entre le pre\u0301sident ivoirien Alassane Dramane Ouattara et le pre\u0301sident de la CAF de l’e\u0301poque Ahmad Ahmad pour que les divergences soient aplanies. La pande\u0301mie du Covid-19, qui a se\u0301vi entre 2020 et 2021, a eu des conse\u0301quences sur l’organisation de la CAN. Celle de 2021 s’est joue\u0301e en janvier\/fe\u0301vrier 2022 au Cameroun, et celle de 2023 se joue en janvier\/fe\u0301vrier 2024 en Co\u0302te d’Ivoire.<\/p>\n

Jusqu’au 11 fe\u0301vrier 2024, l’Afrique vibrera au rythme des 52 matches programme\u0301s pour la 34e\u0300me e\u0301dition de la CAN. 24 pays sont sur la ligne de de\u0301part, pour succe\u0301der au Se\u0301ne\u0301gal au soir du 11 fe\u0301vrier 2024.<\/p>\n
