Africa-Press – Tchad. <\/strong><\/span>Abbas Mahamat Tolli, gouverneur de la Banque des Etats de l\u2019Afrique centrale (Beac), a acheve\u0301 son mandat a\u0300 la te\u0302te de la banque centrale des pays de la Cemac le 06 fe\u0301vrier 2024.<\/p>\n

Un changement va s\u2019ope\u0301rer a\u0300 la te\u0302te de la Banque des Etats de l\u2019Afrique centrale (BEAC). Le Tchadien Abbas Mahamat Tolli est arrive\u0301 a\u0300 la fin de son mandat de gouverneur de la banque centrale re\u0301gionale. Son de\u0301part devrait entrai\u0302ner des changements dans le gouvernement actuel de cette banque centrale, conforme\u0301ment au principe de rotation par pays et par ordre alphabe\u0301tique, au poste de gouverneur de la Beac.<\/p>\n

Pour le poste de gouverneur, qui revient a\u0300 la Re\u0301publique centrafricaine (RCA) selon le principe de rotation a\u0300 ce poste, trois noms sont pressentis selon les analystes. Il s\u2019agit de Yvon Sana Bangui, actuellement directeur central des syste\u0300mes informatiques a\u0300 la Beac ; Maurice Christian Ouanzin, l\u2019actuel secre\u0301taire ge\u0301ne\u0301ral de la Commission bancaire de l\u2019Afrique Centrale (Cobac) ; et Marius Feimonazui, ancien directeur ge\u0301ne\u0301ral du contro\u0302le ge\u0301ne\u0301ral de la Beac.<\/p>\n

\u00ab Dans le cadre de mes pre\u0301rogatives exerce\u0301es en tant que Directeur ge\u0301ne\u0301ral du Contro\u0302le ge\u0301ne\u0301ral, garant du strict respect des textes auxquels la Banque assujettie et ce, par toutes les parties prenantes, je me fais le devoir de vous rappeler que les articles 50,51 aline\u0301as 3, 51, 4 et 52 des Statuts de la Beac pre\u0301cisent les conditions de nomination, la dure\u0301e pre\u0301cise et les aspects relatifs a\u0300 la gestion de la vacance du poste du Gouverneur de la BEAC \u00bb, a rappele\u0301 Blaise Euge\u0300ne Nsom, DG du contro\u0302le ge\u0301ne\u0301ral a\u0300 la BEAC.<\/p>\n

Nomme\u0301 par de\u0301cret le 06 fe\u0301vrier 2017 pour un mandat de 7 ans non renouvelable, Abbas Tolli Mahamat est arrive\u0301 en fin de mandat le 06 fe\u0301vrier 2024. De fait, en application des statuts de la BEAC notamment en son article 51 aline\u0301a 3, 51, 4 \u00ab Adate, Abbas Mahamat Tolli n\u2019a plus de mandat et d\u2019habilitation le\u0301gale a\u0300 e\u0302tre repre\u0301sentant du pays dont il est originaire au sein du gouvernement de la BEAC \u00bb, a souligne\u0301 Nsom. \u00ab Il y a donc une vacance du poste du gouverneur de la BEAC, et ce, de\u0300s le 07 fe\u0301vrier 2024 au matin \u00bb.<\/p>\n
