Africa-Press<\/a> – Tchad<\/a>. <\/strong><\/span>L\u2019arm\u00e9e tchadienne a affirm\u00e9 dimanche 9 mai que l\u2019op\u00e9ration contre les rebelles qui m\u00e8nent depuis un mois une offensive \u00e9tait \u00ab finie \u00bb. Les combats ont d\u00e9but\u00e9 le 11 avril, jour de l\u2019\u00e9lection pr\u00e9sidentielle au cours de laquelle Idriss D\u00e9by Itno avait \u00e9t\u00e9 r\u00e9\u00e9lu pour la sixi\u00e8me fois cons\u00e9cutive. C\u2019est lors de combats entre l\u2019arm\u00e9e et le Front pour l\u2019alternance et la concorde au Tchad (FACT) que le mar\u00e9chal D\u00e9by, mont\u00e9 au front, a \u00e9t\u00e9 tu\u00e9.<\/p>\n

\u00ab La guerre est arriv\u00e9e et nous avons pu ma\u00eetriser la situation<\/b><\/p>\n

(\u2026). Nous avons nettoy\u00e9 les lieux et il n\u2019y a plus rien maintenant. La situation est revenue \u00e0 la normale, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 le chef d\u2019\u00e9tat-major des arm\u00e9es, Abakar Abdelk\u00e9rim Daoud. Tout est fini, le territoire national est s\u00e9curis\u00e9. \u00bb<\/p>\n

Plusieurs centaines de v\u00e9hicules et blind\u00e9s de l\u2019arm\u00e9e tchadienne ont regagn\u00e9 dimanche la capitale tchadienne N\u2019Djamena pour c\u00e9l\u00e9brer la fin des op\u00e9rations dans l\u2019ouest du pays, a constat\u00e9 un journaliste de l\u2019AFP. L\u2019arm\u00e9e tchadienne a pr\u00e9sent\u00e9 \u00e0 la presse 156 prisonniers du FACT, ainsi que de nombreux v\u00e9hicules saisis.<\/p>\n

Bas\u00e9s depuis sa cr\u00e9ation en 2016 dans le sud de la Libye, le FACT et ses colonnes de pick-up sont d\u2019abord descendus \u00e0 partir du 11 avril vers le sud en franchissant la fronti\u00e8re Libye-Tchad, puis sont pass\u00e9s par le Niger, avant de revenir au Tchad dans le Kanem.<\/p>\n

Apr\u00e8s l\u2019annonce de la mort du pr\u00e9sident D\u00e9by, son fils Mahamat a pris les r\u00eanes du pays \u00e0 la t\u00eate d\u2019un Conseil militaire de transition (CMT). Entour\u00e9 de quatorze g\u00e9n\u00e9raux, tous fid\u00e8les \u00e0 son p\u00e8re, il concentre presque tous les pouvoirs.
