Pour le gouvernement, d\u00e9velopper ces secteurs \u00e0 forte employabilit\u00e9 peut permettre de booster le d\u00e9veloppement de l\u2019\u00e9conomie et faire reculer le ch\u00f4mage.<\/p>\n<p>Le secr\u00e9taire g\u00e9n\u00e9ral \u00e0 la pr\u00e9sidence de la R\u00e9publique du Tchad, Mahamat Ahmad Alhabo (photo, au centre), a pr\u00e9sid\u00e9, jeudi 18 avril, la c\u00e9r\u00e9monie de pose de la premi\u00e8re pierre de la construction d\u2019une facult\u00e9 d\u2019agronomie et de production animale au sein de l\u2019Universit\u00e9 Roi Fay\u00e7al \u00e0 Afrouk au Nord de N\u2019Djamena.<\/p>\n<p>Le projet en cours n\u00e9cessite une enveloppe d&rsquo;un peu plus de 2 millions USD. Le financement sera mis \u00e0 disposition par le Fonds de solidarit\u00e9 islamique de l\u2019Organisation de coop\u00e9ration islamique, selon la d\u00e9cision approuv\u00e9e en octobre 2023 lors de la 9e conf\u00e9rence des ministres de l\u2019Organisation de coop\u00e9ration islamique sur la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 alimentaire et le d\u00e9veloppement agricole.<\/p>\n<p>Pour les autorit\u00e9s tchadiennes, ce projet est vital pour le d\u00e9veloppement du Tchad dont l\u2019\u00e9conomie repose en majorit\u00e9 sur l\u2019agriculture et l\u2019\u00e9levage. Le secteur p\u00e8se pour plus de 20 % dans le PIB et reste le principal pourvoyeur d\u2019emplois. Il est donc de bon sens de s\u2019investir dans la formation de la ressource humaine dans ce secteur \u00e0 forte employabilit\u00e9 dans le pays. Une d\u00e9marche qui a permis \u00e9galement d\u2019entamer depuis 2022 le processus de cr\u00e9ation d\u2019une \u00e9cole d\u2019\u00e9levage et d\u2019agronomie \u00e0 l\u2019Universit\u00e9 de N\u2019Djamena, cette fois avec l\u2019appui de la Turquie.<\/p>\n<p>En outre, la facult\u00e9 en construction s\u2019inscrit dans l\u2019ambition du gouvernement tchadien d\u2019enrichir son offre de formation dans l\u2019enseignement sup\u00e9rieur, avec l\u2019intention de cr\u00e9er au moins un \u00e9tablissement sp\u00e9cialis\u00e9 dans toutes les provinces du pays.
