Africa-Press – Tchad. <\/strong><\/span>Ce lundi 6 mai 2024 la population tchadienne est appele\u0301e aux urnes pour e\u0301lire son nouveau pre\u0301sident. Dr Succe\u0300s Masra, candidat du parti Les Transformateurs, a exerce\u0301 son droit de vote au bureau n\u00b01 du quartier Habbena, dans le 7e arrondissement de N\u2019Djame\u0301na.<\/b><\/p>\n

Cette e\u0301lection reve\u0302t une importance particulie\u0300re, car elle vise a\u0300 mettre un terme a\u0300 une transition politique qui a dure\u0301 trois longues anne\u0301es depuis le de\u0301ce\u0300s tragique du Mare\u0301chal Idriss Deby Itno. Le regrette\u0301 pre\u0301sident a e\u0301te\u0301 tue\u0301 lors d\u2019une offensive des rebelles du Fact dans l\u2019ouest du pays en avril 2021, plongeant le Tchad dans une pe\u0301riode d\u2019incertitude et de transition.<\/p>\n

Dix candidats, dont neuf hommes et une femme, se disputent la pre\u0301sidence. Plus de 8 millions de citoyens sont attendus dans les bureaux de vote a\u0300 travers le pays.<\/p>\n

Donnant ses impressions apre\u0300s avoir vote\u0301, Dr Succe\u0300s Masra, candidat du parti Les Transformateurs, a souligne\u0301 l\u2019importance de cette journe\u0301e pour la de\u0301mocratie tchadienne, appelant chaque citoyen a\u0300 exercer son droit de vote de manie\u0300re pacifique. \u201cC\u2019est un grand jour pour notre pays, un grand jour pour la de\u0301mocratie. Je suis venu moi aussi accomplir mon devoir citoyen et je voudrais inviter chaque Tchadien et chaque Tchadienne a\u0300 sortir massivement et montrer qu\u2019ils veulent un changement\u201c, a-t-il de\u0301clare\u0301.<\/p>\n

Il a e\u0301galement mis en avant l\u2019importance de la transparence dans le processus e\u0301lectoral, affirmant que chaque de\u0301le\u0301gue\u0301 des bureaux a le droit d\u2019observer le de\u0301pouillement des votes. \u201cTous ceux qui seront dans les bureaux de vote, cela a e\u0301te\u0301 confirme\u0301, y compris par le pre\u0301sident de l\u2019institution charge\u0301e des e\u0301lections, ils ont le droit, a\u0300 la fin du de\u0301pouillement, de filmer le proce\u0300s-verbal. En tant que chef du gouvernement, j\u2019ai e\u0301galement le droit de recevoir une copie de chaque proce\u0300s-verbal\u201c, a-t-il ajoute\u0301.<\/p>\n
